  • Battle Packs are now part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series premier events, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster League does this by including 10 new battle-oriented cards (2 new Monsters, 2 new Spells, 6 new Traps) designed for sealed & draft play, and are also 100% legal for constructed play, as well as incorporating a Special Tournament Rule, designed to provide Duelists a Dueling experience with a twist! Customer Reviews

This is meant for drafting, not for cracking!Look, the pulls are not the best. You're not guaranteed to get anything of value (no guaranteed secret etc...), and there's really only one card in the whole set that is worth anything. But the box is very cheap right now, and the box is suppose to be used specifically for drafting. Do not buy this box unless you intend to draft with it! For drafting, this set is awesome whether its one on one sealed or a drafting tournament with your friends. Twenty five dollars to entertain a group of people for an evening is defiantly worth it, since there's also a chance someone might get a few useable cards like breakthrough skill or a money card like emeral or alucard. You're also more likely to get your money back than with any of the other two battle packs, this battle packs also has quite a lot of xyz so if you're new and want some extra options and want some practice playing without spending a bunch of money for even a decent budget deck this is a good option to try something new. I wish yugioh had more support for drafting sets like this it's been too long since we had another one. 4What are you getting in this box? This will expand your collection by 180 cards. This is what I got from it:About 10 cards I really wanted from this set.(exploder dragon, forbidden lance, dark bribe, etc.)About 80 cards I was really happy to get/ that I can use.20 cards I considered impractical to use.10 Koa'ki Meiru cards.15 cards that supported plan monsters.15 cards that supported psychic monsters.10 cards for fish/aqua/sea serpent decks. The rest were cards I already had or duplicates. There's also a lot of support for beast monsters but theyaren't as exclusively for beast decks like the other 4 I mentioned.I think for the $40 or so I spent, it was really worth my money, and the cards in this set are really good. 4You might consider skipping this one setUsually after purchasing a modern box such as this I'd have to purchase between 2-4 of the cards individually in order to complete the set. This battle pack is hardly the case. I'm on box 3 and I'm still missing 28 cards. But I can look past that (looking for rare cards is half the fun). What I can't look past is the sets two unredeeming qualities. 1:Shatterfoils are boring. I barely can tell they're holos half the time and I honestly prefer the regular rares to them. 2: The card line up: I just can't excited about any of my pulls besides the XYZs. Every pack is usually a snooze fest. This set might be a pass for people not that into the game. 3Depends on how you see itFor a player, like myself, this box is a treasure trove, full of all sorts of useful monsters, spells and traps, and all for a good price too. For a collector, or a businessman, the one aspect worth collecting would be the Xyz monster reprints that come in the set, including Alucard and Emeral. For the player: A+For the collector: A- (I say this having obtained Dire Wolf, and Tri-Edge Levia) 5Retro packThe cards were mostly from early Zexal series, and some formerly promo cards were added too. The prismatic rare cards in every pack are good, although the ariety of cards in the middle range, you can get about 56-65% of the cards from one booster box. I'm pleased to be able to draw Noble arms cards, Vampire cards and Forbidden cards from this pack. 5pretty good cards and you can't beat the $25 price ...Contains a unique set of cards, both old and new. It contains lots of monster cards that focus on strengthening certain monster types (ex. Warrior, Fish, Machine, Pyro, etc). Out of the 180 cards received in this booster box (5 cards per pack x 36 packs) I got 160 different cards; only 20 of the set being repeats. I was able to make a decent 40 card deck and defeat many of my friends with their carefully constructed decks. Overall, pretty good cards and you can't beat the $25 price (cheap for a booster box). 4Simple clean type cards. Nothing OP. Sparse gamewinners.Made a basic deck using mostly cards that i pulled from here. Chiron The Mage grows on trees but is useful regardless and i managed to make a 4star or lower deck and beat my friends blue eyes deck 2:3 times. Had i used better traps. tsk tsk. I got a few good spells and traps and a couple good monsters, each with doubles or more sometimes. This is nice for cheap simple tools. 5Small box, packs a punch. These are going to be a christmas present for a kid. When looking online at the images for this I was expecting one of the big boxes that the stores had years ago. When I recieved it I was taken back with the size. I forgot the whole saving space and environmentally friendly casing. The price was unbeatable I had to grab this item. Typically the little packs are about 5.00 per pack. This was a huge money saver and I can ensure that my child will get all the cards that you would hope for from guessing the weight in the store. I will be buying again. 5You get what you're getting. Product came with no ...You get what you're getting. Product came with no damage. You can google the card set to see what you might be getting. 5Fast delivery and great priceI just received my box today after waiting anxiously all week. I haven't opened it yet as i'm waiting for a good time to get with my friends for a seal-pack tournament, which is what the box is advertised for. I did do research on the cards in the box though, and there are a lot of great classic cards in the box as well as a few new ones, all great for competitive play. This set has two of the competitive Book cards, Book of Life and Book of Eclipse as common pulls, two cards which are super rare in the other packs they come in. It is also pretty cheap. The whole box costs $30 which comes out to less than 1 dollar a pack. They were selling these exact packs at 2nd and Charles for $4, so if that is what they retail for then I suppose this is a pretty good deal.Overall you get 180 cards, all mostly competitive, so if you are just starting out this is a good box to invest in as it gives the most cards for the cheapest price without investing in random lots which typically only have bad cards. 5
