    Keeping up with the JonesesI bought the first watch for my four boys for Christmas. Then we realized the newer medallium did not work in the white watch, so I purchased model zero for each of them, and they are receiving them on their birthdays. It's been a long wait. My oldest son is 12, and the youngest is 3. They all love Yo-kai! 5My Son Loves It.The title states is all. My son loves his Yo-kai Watch. He is consistently playing with his watch all the time. As a parent, it brings me joy knowigng that he is fullfilling his childhood. It may not be "He-man" or "Power Ranger", but he is using his imagnation and is playing as I onces did when I was his age. A peice of advise for all parents, make sure you take the watch from your kids when it is bedtime. My wife and I caught the boy playing with his watch at 1 A.M. in the morning. Lucking it was a weekend. 5Good value, fun to play with!!! Quality toy!My five year old loves this toy! It works right out of the packaging and comes with 2 yomotion medals. We had fun playing with the controls and figuring out what each action triggered various outputs from the watch! It's a fun watch that encourages imaginative play--my boys pretend they are Nate and hunting for yo-Kai! 5Kids love/parents hateMy son loves this toy and my husband and I hate it. It is loud and obnoxious. That being said, my 9 year old son will play with it until we make him stop. Another frustration is that only series 1 disks seem easily available for purchase in local stores and they do not have the projection feature on them 4Works Great!I bought this for my son he loves the yokai watches. The only thing you need to be sure you do is update the watch with English update. After we did the update all his Medals worked great. He wears it all the time, the watch has stood the test of time getting worn and flung around by a 7yr old.I really wish they would make updating these more user friendly.. I'am thankful I know my way around electronics or we wouldn't have got this to work. 5Son loved it!My son loves this toy. He thinks it's cool that it projects on the wall. I wishthe coins that go in it were more accessible. This toy comes with 2 and we couldn't find more unless they cost more than the toy itself.Another issue is the coins have to be put in a specific way and if slightly off they get stuck. My son thought his broke because of it and got upset but I was able to get it out and show him how its supposed to go jn. 4Yo-Kai Watch do your thing!My son saved his allowance to buy this and loves it. This version of the watch projects a Yo-Kai image instead of doing the song and naming of individual Yo-Kai. The watch is very well made and I'm expecting months to years of play for my son, AND his younger sister who will inevitably get her mitts on it. :) Wish more people knew about this series! 5Daughter LOVES it!I surprised my kid with this watch since she loves to pretend to be a Yokai and wants me to "find the elusive Yokai with my Yokai watch" pretty much every single morning when she wakes up... so the other day I put this on and found her with a real Yokai watch... needless to say she was absolutely thrilled and hasn't stopped playing with the thing. I do need to find more of the medals for it since she wants certain characters (of course). The only downside to the thing is that it is very LOUD and there is no volume control. Otherwise, great gift/toy for the Yokai lover in your life. 5SuccessThe watch is a success! On the technical side: it works perfectly, makes sounds and projects a short "gif style" image very nicely. It is well built, looks amazing, it can fit a very thin wrist like my daughter's but it has a lot of room for thicker arms. But the most important part... She loved it! 5Only worked for a few weeks.Was great at first, but within the first week the sound stops working. Wasn't a battery issue either, fresh batteries and still just makes a second of sound before cutting out. 1
