With a moderately strong beach breeze I could not keep this from diving but then tried that and it flew like a champ. Looks a little better without tying the tails but still looked good and most important it stayed up. I put it out about 500 feet and no issues flying for a couple hours tied to a beach chair.The two sticks take a bit of bending to get in the bracket but still pretty quick to assemble and easily put back in the plastic sleeve when done. 5As described!Not as big as I expected it to be, although it was exactly as big as it says it will be. Does require a moderate amount of wind to get up into the air - but once up it does fine. Occasionally the kite will dive bomb toward the ground, but will correct itself before hitting the ground - keeps things interesting. I would not buy this one again, but that's a personal preference, not because there is anything wrong with the kite. 4Dragon Kite Great time with the grand kids. Not as pink as she wanted but still a great way to spend the afternoon. This kite does need a good gust of wind to stay up. it is not flimsy like a five dollar kite, and does like to dive when the wind calms down. Very easy and fun to fly. I get lots of compliments every time I take it out 5Best flying kite everThis has to be the best kite i have ever owned. Perfect for beginners or advanced, easiest to launch, great in high or low wind, and very stable. If it evers seems unstable, check it over, you will find a loose or broken spar. When assembled correctly and fully functional, there is no better or more fun kite to fly. LOVE IT! 5Fun Dragon KiteThis is a beautiful kite and fun. It is sturdy and appears to be put together good. I have flown it three times. I'm new to flying kites in general. Some things I've noticed so far - If you are attempting to fly this kite in an area that has lots of turbulence, it will nosedive. I've found that if you release the line fast, it will get airborne. It will fly smoothly once you can get past the turbulence. You won't be able to do a fast launch with the provided winder, which is more of a string holder. You will have to upgrade. I did to a X Kites QuikRetrieve winder (which I don't recommend), but any yo yo or stake winder should work. I noticed that Wind N Sun also has a ReelFast winder, but I don't know if it is durable. There are other reel type winders out there, but I've never used one. I'm not sure if they will hold up quality wise. The included tails will help with stability in the air. They are plastic, so upgrading to polyester will help with longevity of the tails. A few other tips, there is a learning curve to flying kites, especially smaller ones. Patience is necessary. You may have to make adjustments to your bridle or line (as others have posted). I personally haven't made any, and am still learning. Hope this has been helpful and happy flying. 5Great kite for kids.Kite is huge for my 7 year old sun, but looks great. The basic twine holder thingy is not great, but works.Our only issue with it trying to pack it back up when not used the three very long streamers used are hard to put it away.To me the color is lighter, especially in bright sun than what is pictured and I do not expect the colors to maintain itself over the years. 4
