    Like them, but one doesn't work.Very cute. Gave a four star because one doesn't work and the one that doesn't work is the one I gave as a gift!!!All of the other ones dance without direct sunlight. The one that doesn't work, doesn't work at all....even in direct bright sunlight.Too much bother to return one. 4So cute.A friend of mine has MS and is bed ridden. He gets a real kick out of these types of things and watches them endlessly as they dance on his window ledge. I've gotten several styles for him ti enjoy and can't wait to get the newest ones up to him. 5Great price!I was skeptical about getting these. Kind of expected a couple not to work based on reviews. But I was surprised to receive them all very well packaged and working nicely! These even survived a trip to India to be given as gifts. 5I took one apart. Here is a look inside.Five out of six work. I pried open the dead one, and the problem was easy to find. Two very fine wires (thinner than a hair) run from a coil on the base to a simple circuit board. One wire was broken. It took several tries to resolder. On my third attempt it worked, and now the toy runs nicely. I am not going to re-glue the broken flower pot, since I like to see the mechanism.Here is how it works. The first image shows the copper coil, which is about half an inch wide. A fairly strong Alnico magnet (not visible) is glued into the plastic part directly above. The circuit board applies a pulse of electricity into the coil every 1.5 seconds, repelling the magnet and making it swing away to the left. That magnet piece is mechanically linked to the two leaves, and the parts are nicely balanced to easily swing. The flower is on a completely separate pendulum. In the fourth image, you can see a shiny screw in the middle of the large green piece. The moving magnet attracts that screw to make the flower swing. The second and third images show the circuit board, which has just one encapsulated chip and one electrolytic capacitor. The fine wire from the coil is barely visible in each image.I bought the set of six just to be sure that I would have several that work. I really like this item, but I rate it four stars because only five out of six arrived working. One will go to my mother, one to my girlfriend, and one to my friend's wife who just had surgery.I like the package labeling: "Shaking leafage is a cute wings which moves by light". It also has an amusing safety warning, which says in part, "Be careful of the potential entanglement hazard with necg, hair or fingers if there are string, wire, wheels or rolling parts in the produc Do not shoot towards human body if the product has shooting function" 4Some work and some don'tI've had these before but they didn't make the move with us so I had to get more. The power unit on the first one I tried didn't work but I put the smiling daisy on another base and that set up worked. I use it on the dashboard of the car with back-to-back pieces of Velcro to hold it in place. So I have Miss Daisy Mae back in the car with us. Love her cheery little face!! I purposely ordered more than I needed because I'd read some reviews stating not all the power units work. 4One StarVery cheaply made. I found exact same items after purchasing these at Family Dollar store for 1.00 each 1Items Don't WorkOf the six products shipped to me in this order, only three worked. I'm returning all six for a refund.I purchased some of the solar toys from other vendors at the same time (a cactus, a monkey) and they worked just fine. 1arrived brokenthese are fragile and there was no packing around the box containing the flowers. they may not have moved around in the box but something happened to break 3 of the 6. may not be the product's (or the seller's)fault but if it can't arrive whole then it's not worth the price. 1I love these little solar flowersI love these little solar flowers. The only down side is you never know how many are actually going to work. Out of these 6, 1 didn't work. I've ordered similar ones in the past and 2 out of 4 didn't work. 3don't "dance" in the sunlightthe flowers are very cute and reasonably priced, but only one actually dances in the sunlight. i have seen other of these products that "dance" all day long, only one of these did. disappointing. 3
