    My Daughter Loved This Poppy Costume for Halloween!My four-and-a-half year old daughter wanted to be Poppy this year for Halloween. I found this dress on here and felt the price was decent enough plus it looked the same as, or very similar to, the one I saw in a store so I decided to buy it online.This dress is cute for all little girls who want to dress up for Halloween, a birthday party, or to use as a dress-up costume. It fits sizes 4 to 6x and is made in China of 100% polyester. The dress is a turquoise blue with flowers on the chest, including a Poppy decoration. The back fastens with Velcro. There are a total of three layers: the top layer is blue, sparkly taffeta, the second layer has more of a velvety-feel in the front and a satiny feel in the back with sparkly, pink flowers on the bottom, the bottom layer is a stiffer ring to make the dress stay poofy on the bottom and is covered in more taffeta. If you need to clean it, you need to hand wash it in cold water and line dry it.My daughter was so excited to wear this for Halloween! She ended up wearing it all day, including at her school's Halloween party and parade, for trick-or-treating, and the rest of the time she was at home. She loved it! She's about 36 pounds and 42 inches tall and it fits her well. She was able to wear it over clothes and she still had room in case she needed to add more layers in our cold Wisconsin weather. Some of the stitching started coming out on the bottom so that's sticking out but doesn't seem to bother her. Now that Halloween's over, she uses it to dress up at home and it seems like she will get a lot of use out of it.Overall, I feel it's a good purchase and I'm happy with the price and quality. Some of the stitching started coming out but it doesn't seem like it affects much of the dress. My daughter's happy which means Mommy is happy! 4ScratchyVery disappointing. It looks like such a cute costume but my daughter could not wear it for more than a minute because it was way too scratchy and uncomfortable. It was supposed to be for her birthday party and we had to get her something else to wear for her trolls party. Very disappointed. 2Perfect for Troll Lovers!My 3 year old is very petite, so this is pretty big for her but she loves it regardless! This is one of her favorite dress up outfits as she is a big fan of the Trolls movie! Highly recommend, the quality is pretty legit for costume purposes. 5A bit chintzy but overall goodFits my tall 4T daughter just fine. I was worried that it would be too small, but it's fine with a little room to spare. A little mini hoop skirt makes it different andn kind of special compared to similar dresses. There's something about the choice of fabrics and the overall construction that is kind of chintzy, though. About a headpiece separately. Seems like it'll work really well for Halloween! 4size 6 fits nicely into this dressMy youngest grandchild, size 6 fits nicely into this dress. I was concerned it might run small, but it was true to size. She'll get a couple months out of it as my little Poppy Troll! 5She loves it!!This dress is just adorable. It's made out of the same type of material that most little girls dress up outfits are made of. I got it for her to wear at her trolls themed birthday party and it worked perfect. She was turning 3 and was around 25lbs, it was a little big at that time, but not too big to wear. She is 3.5 and 36lbs now and it fits her perfectly. I really love the metal ring in the bottom that keeps the dress poofed out, it just makes washing it complicated. 5Good AlternativeA purchase for Halloween and an indecisive 2 year old. I like the quality of this dress. It has a hoop in the bottom to keep some volume. It s naturally large on my 2 year old but not so big as she can t wear it. It has Velcro fasteners in the back. I found that it s sufficient quality for the price.My 2 year old is 24lbs and 2 9 in. 4very cute and pretty durable, perfect for a 3yr-old, but a bit chintzy-looking for my tasteThe dress held up during a 3yr old girl's trolls birthday bash in our home. we danced, played games, ate cake, the dress got stepped on, pulled, spilled on and it came out STILL looking pretty good, all things considered! would have been nice to have some poppy hair or a flower headband or something else, but for the price, not bad at all. She waited all week for it and new it was supposed to be here on Friday and as promised it was. The hooped bottom is kind of a pain in the ass. When my daughter decides to be a princess she really commits. She wears the outfit everywhere including to bed so you could see how id be annoyed by the hoop. All in all its a great buy though. 5
