    Perfectly functioning trainsI opted for a less expensive set of Mexican train not noticing that it did not include the trains. I ordered this set of trains so I could use the less expensive set that I had purchased. These trains come in a variety of colors that do not repeat. These are just like the trains that came in the more expensive set of Mexican train dominoes.These also make excellent cat toys. The cats love the way these slide across the floor. They are light to pick up, and are easy to tote. They also make wonderful objects to torture humans as well. These are effective trains to play dominoes with, they are also effective to cause a lot of pain when stepping on them. 4Nice game piecesNice pieces that are different from others. I'm always looking for unique pieces to play with my games. These locomotives definitely fit that description. It comes with 10 pieces in 10 different colors. So 10 people could play a game using these pieces. 4Inexpensive and authentic replacement for lost Mexican train domino piecesI play Mexican train dominoes with a group. Over time, the little trains that came with the set have gotten misplaced, lost, or broken. We used various items to substitute, including printer package tabs and other items. The authenticity wasn't there and we often forget whose widget was whose. These trains offered an inexpensive and authentic option. We have used them several times and found them to be perfectly suited to game play and the assortment different enough in color options to appeal to all who play. They are perfect and match well with the few remaining original pieces that came with the domino set. I would recommend these to domino players. 5Good PurchaseI see that other reviewers did not like the "assortment" they received. I think it is unfair to leave a poor review when they don't even state that they attempted to contact the seller! I personally liked the assortment I received. I included some pictures. I actually DO plan to give them as a gift to my mom. 5Perfect Mexican Train replacement markersMy mom wanted replacement markers for her Mexican Train game. These match perfectly in terms of shape, size, and quality. Each train is a unique color, and they do not overlap the colors in her current game. This worked perfectly for this purpose. 5Adorbs!These are so DARLING! We already had trains for our Mexican Dominoes but I couldn't resist all the different color choices! I was actually pleasantly surprised at how thick and sturdy these trains are. I love all the fun color variety choices and can't wait to play the game just so I can use these cute little train markers! 5Choo chooooooThese trains arrived promptly all in a tiny see thru plastic zip top bag. They are slightly larger than the trains that came with my Mexican train domino set, but just barely.I purchased these when my teenager lost 6 of the 8 trains we had and we had only played a handful of times. I waited for months hoping the trains would show up. Low and behold within days of buying these trains she found the lost trains. Figures, right?Now we have a lovely selection of the solid colored trains that came with our game and several more to choose from! Solid, clear colored ones and some with glitter, something to appeal to everyone.I didn't think the train colors were ugly at all as some reviewers said. And if you should get an "ugly" color in your batch just think of it like the most unplayed token in Monopoly, it's really not the end of the world. There was a good mix of sparkly trains and solid color trains, as well as see thru trains and solid trains. Both sides of the family love to play Mexican Train, so one set is going to my mom, and one to my MIL...except I may have kept 4 of the trains for my house! Very cute, and will come in handy as trains are lost, or when we have more than 4 players (no more pennies or chapstick needed as markers!). 5Great for large familiesVery happy with this train set, as a family we play double 15 style Mexican chicken train. We are a larger family and all the sets that can be purchased in stores only come with 4 trains. I decided to order this set as it comes with 10 trains that are assorted in color so there can be no confusion as to whose train is whose. We will be using this train set this weekend at our family holiday gathering. Should make for an easier game play with this many trains. Solid product. 5Many colors to choose from - some may be sparklyThe trains are between the size of a sugar cube and a crouton. My assortment is a mix of solid plastic trains and translucent trains. A couple of the translucent trains have some glitter in them. It seems a little strange to me, I had assumed they would all be solid colors.They all sit level on the table. There is a hole through them from front to back; I suspect these are made as beads. Nevertheless, this is a good size "train" marker and a nice assortment to choose from when playing with friends. 4
