    The kit was shipped from Japan. It arrived within the time estimated in the listing.I haven't started on the model yet,but Tamiya kits always offer good fit and detail, and this appears to be no different. 5Tamiya models are the best. if you notice my purchase historyTamiya models are the best. if you notice my purchase history, almost all of my plastic models are Tamiya. excellent detail and build quality. 5Even with modification the fit would be dodgy at best as the well-covers don't sit flush with the under ...I purchased this to hang from my ceiling once complete and to my dismay after putting long hours in cleaning, fitting, and detailing the parts, I discovered that the landing gear can't be assembled in the raised position. Even with modification the fit would be dodgy at best as the well-covers don't sit flush with the under wing surface near their tops. Other tricky parts include the tail assembly and keeping the elevators level while gluing in the uprights but its do-able if you take it one side at a time and getting the 'wing carriage' to sit flush with the fuselage. Even with dry fitting I messed mine up to a slight degree.The flaps can be assembled up or down and the cockpit open or closed and there's an included pilot figure which fits in nicely. You're also given a choice of nose cones between the open-type or two of the closed-type and an extended or regular air filter along the side of the fuselage.Over all, I'd say this is a good, but not excellent model that lacks detail that the Revell kit includes at the same price point. The build seems resistant to assembly and parts are too close the the number plates on the sprews inviting you to cut too close to them and damage them. I'd really only recommend it if you're a fan of the E-3 over other 109s, or want a simpler build of a landed 109 with decent exterior detail. It's just hard to find nice things to say about and mine currently sits unfinished in its box until I figure out what I want to do with it. 3
