CheapSo the head moves.. that's interesting because in the photo it shows the neck should move up and down/ but it doesn't - just the jaw line around the head; looks creepy. Other then that it's a fine toy. I don't know if I'll order anymore (depends if my kid likes it), the bday party hasn't happened yet- I'm doing a review based on my opinion for the money value. 2Comes with dead batteries!Looked like a great gift for a six year old horse lover and rider. And it was, for the most part. BUT the batteries were dead. And not many people keep this kind of battery on hand at home. Plus, I had paid for an item whose listing explicitly stated: "2 LR44 batteries required. (included)."I am disappointed in this vendor and think they should at the least send us some batteries. 3Such wonderful quality and so prettyI'm so in love with these horses. I'm so glad I added this set to my collection. As you may know I am an adult model horse and toy collector, and I'd reviewed the palomino when I first ordered him, so now as promised I'm back to review the other 4 horses in the set. I was impressed with them by their pictures online, so I bought the palomino to see if they would live up to their pictures, and they do, they do, they do. I got the single horses for $15 each and the lippizaner stable set for under 30, it should be noted that that set is at around 43 dollars now. I don't know what happened there.Each of the four horse-only sets (Morgan, Appaloosa, quarter, palomino) has the same accessories except for the saddles. The accessories are very nice, they are a durable hard rubber. The handle on the bucket swings, which is a nice touch. Each has a different saddle. The saddles are completely removable but the bridles are not, they are molded on. The horses are chunky and muscular, the sculpt is well defined. I'm impressed with the shading on the horses sides, and the hair is soft and shiny and brushable. These are a bargain. They are too small for a Barbie doll, but children will improvise a rider and adult collectors probably already have 1/12th riders. Your little girl will love them, or if you remember the Grand Champions line from the 90s to which these are very similar, so will you. 5MY TODDLER LOVES IT...SO DO I!MY SON ALWAYS PLAYS WITH IT, HE LOVES IT MAKES SOUND WHEN HE PUSHES THE HORSES NECK, AND HE IS A WILD KID AND HAS NEVER BROKE ANY PART OF THE HORSE, SO ITS STRONG ENOUGHT FOR HIM...ILL HAVE TO SAY THE HORSE'S HAIR LOOKS LIKE A MESS NOW...BUT IT WAS VERY NICE WHEN IT ARRIVED, ITS NICE YOU CAN BRUSH THE HORSES HAIR AND ALL THE LITTLE THINGS THAT CAME WITH IT WERE VERY NICE AND CUTE (STRONG MATERIAL TOO). I DO RECOMMEND IT! 5Sounds are realistic, Pretty horse.Head moves and triggers off horse sounds! My granddaughter loves him. She wants the other 3, which I have already ordered for Christmas. The horse is hard, so it may last longer just Wish it was a little softer body on horse. Still give 5 stars because my grand- daughter goes to sleep with him and she Loves it! 5Well-made horseSmaller than I thought- Barbie fits on it but the horse would need to be larger to look like a realistic size in relation to the barbie's size.. but the horse is beautiful and my girls love playing with it. Comes with a lot of little accessories. 4BeautifulWhile going through my old things, my step daughter found my box of old Grand Champions and fell in love. I decided I d start her on her own collection (not ready for the more expensive Breyers). I didn t know Grand Champions were no longer being made but this made a beautiful new start to her collection. She loves having the ability to brush the mane and play with the included accessories 5Fantastic value!! Buy it!! 4 choices of horses too!Ok. This comes with a lot of little pieces so we quickly had to get a baggie to collect those in, but overall this is an awesome gift for a girl or boy that loves horses. We even got it a stable. My niece made cute noises while playing with it before discovering it made its own. I was about to give her a Monty python coconut lesson....she ll be getting another one on her birthday. Toy horse, not a coconut lesson. 5Adorable horseI bought this for my 2 year old son. He loves brushing the horses hair and pulling on the rein to make it neigh. I love that this is gender neutral so my animal loving son can enjoy it without there being pink or glitter manes everywhere. I wish more things were made like this and would be geared to both boys and girls! 5Every 4 yr olds Barbie doll should be So LuckySuper Cute! Lots & Lots & Lots of Extras make is So Awesome! It is Way better -condition wise than those Bigger B.horses that flop/fail & we plan to get her (5 total of these) for that one (crappy made) that didn't last a month & broke her heart. Now.... looking to find a small stable 1st! Terrific Gift! 5
