    Not worth $10...disappointedThese look really cute before you take them out of the package. Once opened you realize that the small mermaids are pretty ugly looking. One of our small mermaids had a rip where her jaw meets her chest, this was noticed by my 4 year old during the first use. Another small mermaid had splatters of whatever paint was used on them on her face and chest. I glued the holes on them closed before allowing them to be in the bath hoping to protect our bath toy investment (true story), and at the end of the first bath the "Mommy" mermaid was still filled completely with water, as was the one with the gaping neck wound. The idea of these are cute, and my girls loved them for like 5 minutes, but these are basically a step up from dollar store quality, in my opinion. I'll have to throw them away fairly soon once they start getting mildew inside of them. Not worth the money. 2My daughter has played with these mermaids like crazy since she got themMy daughter has played with these mermaids like crazy since she got them! The surprise was that she recieved little red headed mermaids instead of blondes and she was thrilled! She loves red hair for some reason so she was ecstatic. They're perfectly sized for her 2 year lid hands and she loves that the momma mermaid can float around holding the babies on her tail 5Cute, fun but can get moldy, difficult to get water out of mama alligatorThis is a cute toy and my kids love it. I agree with one of the other reviews above that says that the bigger alligator sucks in water through a hole in the bottom, and it's true, the big one is not meant to be a "squirting" bath toy and it does cause the alligator to lean to one side and is definitely a cause for mold, we have had other toys like this but we threw them away because of mold. It is almost impossible to get all the water out of the big alligator. It's really a shame. I have such a hard time finding bath toys that are not squirting but that look like squirting toys. Don't buy this. 1Super cute, lots of play with this mermaid familyMy girls absolutely love these mermaids. They re so inexpensive and simple but they brought them to a waterpark and all the kids were jealous! They also use the Mom mermaid to hold their LOL doll s like a pool floatie. This is our second set and they are highly loved for the bath, pool and even playing in the sand. 5Alot Bigger than I thought!!I was confused by some of these reviews. Some people said it was brittle plastic and was made poorly. I was hesitant about buying it thinking this toy was tiny and made poorly but mine is ALOT bigger than I thought, thicker, and has alittle weight to it. Definately worth the money. The mom is the width of your hand from your wrist all the way to your fingertips and around. I said" Wow! Now thats a cool bath toy". I hope this gives you a better idea. ( I will update with photos in the next day or so). The babies are smaller but I assumed the mom would be alot smaller to begin with. For the price I think it is great quality. I was suprised by the toy. The problem with the little hole in the bottom is I simply used a small piece of black gorilla tape and it prevents the water from going in. 5OkayI purchased these for my infant son since my eldest had the Duck set and loved them when he was younger. I received what you see in the photo. The Mama gator is oddly off balance when placed in water so she doesn't sit flat and hold babies on her back. She just kind of lists to one side and wobbles. The babies are cute. All pieces are made from a pretty firm plastic which minimizes their possible use as squirt toys. Overall, nothing spectacular. A cheap bath toy. The Duck family I bought for my son around 7 years ago was more useful since it was made with a more flexible plastic and floated flat so the babies stayed on the Mama's back. 3Ridiculously tiny!I'm very disappointed in this item. My 2 year old twins had a mommy and 3 baby duck set for the both and unfortunately mold grew inside so I threw them away. I ordered these thinking they'd be their replacement and the same size. They came in and the mommy duck is smaller than my palm and the baby ducks aren't much larger than the size of a dime. Went to return these only to find out that they cannot be returned. I'm really upset about this. 1One StarItems not as pictured. Sloppy, cheap, and small. 1Did not likeI let my daughter play with it once in the tub because they looked so dirty and badly made. I threw out one of the little ones right away, let her just use the Mom and 2 babies just because she was so excited. Tossed in trash after that - hope she will forget about them. They looked adorable but I was afraid of possible health hazards because it seemes that mold (or something worse) was trapped inside and the paint was coming off even before it was used. 1The little ones are cute and my daughter plays with ...The little ones are cute and my daughter plays with them a lot! However, I gave this a three star because the "momma" one has a whole in the bottom and lets in water....which makes her tip over....and the babies can't sit on her. The water is a pain to drain out of her because of how she's shaped. Real cute and my daughter loves them, but a bit of a pain....Update several months later- This is my daughters favorite bath toy...Loves her "babies." Still a pain for me though when water gets in the momma...I'll raise it a star because of how much my daughter love this and hasn't lost interest...which says a lot for a 2 year old. 3
