Customer Reviews

Do not buy this product -unsafe.Beware! This product is intended to stretch and pull and my 6 year old son found a piece of sharp metal wire INSIDE the ball. We got the metal out and the contents of the ball smell horrible. The ball is unusable. I bought it for OT purposes and am returning it immediately. It is not safe. I would rate it less stars if possible! 1Save your moneyI bought this as a fidget toy for my 10 year old to use when he does his homework. He stretched it exactly twice when the plug broke exposing the interior contents -- less than two minutes after opening the package. It is a very poor construction. Frankly, for 4 dollars I wasn't expecting much, but this is really bad. I posted a picture to show the poor quality. 1Honestly my favoriteThis is my favorite of all the stress toys I have. It isn't hard it's very soft. The filling inside feel like a mixture of memory foam and slim. It's great. The stress ball is easy to clean if you get dirt on it all you have to do is rinse it quickly with water then it's good to go. I had the stress ball till my cat poked a hole in it by biting it. I have bought it twice. I highly recommend this product it's amazing for people who fidget. 5A true nihilist toyThis is one weird "ball". It's about the size of a handball and it has a filling of about two thirds of it's volume being a dry putty and the rest is air. The filling acts a bunch like Silly Putty except it won't self-heal after sitting. Dry silly putty? Anyhow it's near weightless stuff that isn't anywhere near "squishy". It in no way bounces and it sits like a balloon that's lost 98% of its air.Now that I have this thing I can't imagine at all how to say anything good about it and at the same time I can't really say anything bad about it either. This may be the ultimate NOTHING toy.Postscript: I gave this to the kids and I will have all you skeptics out there know that it lasted almost a full fifteen minutes! Now that's sturdy! 3Horribly made, Cheap material, Deceptive DescriptionI have to give a star, but it is not even deserving on One..I have read the reviews, and many people are saying the word "these." That indicates that they received more than 1 ball. The description reads that, 4 are supposed to be sent. That is not the case for me. I received one pink ball. I have a 14 year old son with, severe ADHD, OCD, anxiety, and Tourette's. I needed all 4, so that in itself is disappointing, as I not only ordered them for him for school, but as one of his Christmas gifts. Also, it's horribly made. It's very cheap material, and after reading the reviews, can see where this item would break VERY easily!!! I would NOT recommend anyone buy this item. I will be returning mine, and looking elsewhere for a better product. This company, obviously cannot be trusted, or they need or update and fix the description that they have written for the buyer. I also read, these are made of latex material. This is not in the details at all, and that is NOT okay! This is extremely important information, as SO MANY people have severe latex allergies. Are they looking for a law suit! That in itself is just idiotic. This "little" detail could kill someone. So, I would recommend you think twice before you purchase from them. I don't recommend this item, or this company. I do not trust them, and I have no problem searching elsewhere. Please do yourself the same favor. Read the reviews, they are dead on. The ones with 5 stars... good for them, but you won't find many that will agree. Good luck, best wishes, and Merry Christmas everyone! 1No durability.I left my student unsupervised for less than a minute and it had been effortlessly popped and my student was playing with the "dough" and I didn't know the non-toxic specifics of it so it went in the trash. Not very durable unless you're an adult using it as a stress ball...and even then.. I missed the return/replace window (by the time I showed it to my students) so I was out of luck on all levels. 1Great as long as you don't want to squeeze it.This stress ball started off as a big hit. I got it for my wife to use at work as she has a stressful job. She loved it, her coworkers loved it, until it ripped and silly putty came out of it, 3 1/2 hours after opening the box. It's possible I got a defective one, but for the price it's really not worth the hassle of returning it to get a replacement. That's probably what they are counting on. 11 year later edit below..This is the best thing I've ever touched. Period. It's made of magic. You have to try this. It's soft, doughy, amazing. I want 10 more. I read in the reviews about them breaking open. I don't have much desire to stretch mine but I squeezed it ALOT and the seam was fine with no tearing or weakness.Update: I have purchased a few more so I could have one at home, one in my purse, and one at work, and found that they will definitely break if you stretch the seal. If you avoid stretching the seal you can stretch the rest as much as you like and it's fine. I squeezed my one at work for hours every day and no signs of weakness so I think if you only squeeze maybe it will never break. Anyway, my point is, be careful not to stretch the seal and it'll be fine. Probably not great for kids but adults can handle that. Also, the skin of it is not thin and does not feel like a balloon. It feels like a really soft silicone. These things are great and shouldn't just be thrown away. I'll take the ones you guys break and no longer want if you don't want to glue them with whatever glue it would need to fix it.2nd edit about a year later: So, final opinions.. All but the first one I received arrived fairly hard and had to be squeezed a lot to become soft like a stress ball should be. But I didn't mind the work because the end result was worth it to me. I always had to be careful not to rip the seam. Usually I was able to prevent it. Sometimes I wasn't. I haven't found any glues that work yet to repair them but am no longer interested in doing so. Because they don't last, tear or no tear. My ones from a year ago are so hard now that no amount of re-squeezing will bring them back. This is not worth the money. The Handstands Smooosh stress ball has lasted a year with no changes at all. Still just as good as day 1. It has more of a thick liquid feel than dough, but it's quality. I have bought 2 of those and they are great. Buy that instead. 1Misconception in description of stretchy stress ballVery disappointed. The description is deceiving. It reads"It's what you make of it! When you squeeze these stretch balls, they take on whatever form you create. A great stress reliever as well. Each piece in netted bag."The picture shows multiple balls and the description says "WHEN YIU SQUEEZE THESE STRETCH BALLS, THEY...." THESE and THEY are plural words and the picture shows more than one. I was giving THEM to several children and when package arrived there was one" 1The outer cover to this feels nice, stretchy as advertisedThe outer cover to this feels nice, stretchy as advertised. Whatever they fill it with is dry and very difficult for an adult to manipulate. There isn't enough filling by half... Its like an air bubble and then a chunk of something not squishy in a rubber stretch thing. My daughter said "this isn't even dollar store worthy". Definitely not satisfied with this one at all. It instantly became a cat toy because we didn't know what else to do with it. 2
