    Great globe for small childrenThis globe shows surprising detail to essentially be a beach ball, and it's enormous. I was reluctant at first to spend so much money on a beach ball, but I'm very pleased with this product. It's a great teaching tool for small children, which is why I bought it. It shows country and capital information as well as topography. The only thing that makes this globe a 4 out of 5 for me is that Antarctica has a blue patch over most of it. A patch is certainly understandable for construction of a beach ball, but I think it would have been just as easy to make the patch white to match the rest of Antarctica. That said, everyone who has seen it has commented on how detailed it is. I would definitely recommend this globe and would purchase it again. 4Globe makes for fun geography learning!Ah, this is a nice globe that helped my 4 year old daughter get excited about world geography. We find and point out where we are from and where everyone we know is from. It is essentially a beach ball. It will probably break if it is climbed on, just like a beach ball. It says it has bumps for the topography, but it does not. It shows where deserts are. Mine looks exactly like the one in the picture. The north and south poles are a little screwed up due to the beach ball construction, but everything else is pretty perfect. It has the names of oceans, continents, and countries.Couldn't be better! I would recommend it for home geography enrichment or even the classroom, but you may have to buy more for the classroom. 5fun ballThis is a regular beach ball with a globe printed on it. The only disappointment was that the poles are covered, so one piece of the globe is missing (part of Antartica). I bought this globe for a preschooler for Christmas. He likes to play with it and asks simple questions about where we live. It was worth the price and seems sturdy (he throws himself onto it regularly as if it were an exercise ball). It is a beach ball though, I am sure it will not put up with too much abuse! This was a cheap alternative to the super fancy earth balls you can buy. In my case, our preschooler would not appreciate, need, or otherwise understand a satilite imaged ball or a real globe, so this was a nice choice. 4Can't See The WritingI can barely see the writing on the dark blue water. A bright light and magnifying glass are necessary. I'm not sure that I didn't overate it. 3Good productWe got the huge one, it is huge. Could be thicker plastic, but did last 2 years with the kids throwing it around. 4Globe but not very comprehensiveI purchased this after reading comments from folks who claimed that it could be used for geography lessons. ----Well it is a lot less comprehensive than I thought. Doesn't show even major rivers or mountain ranges. It's ok if you just want to find current countries and a given continent but otherwise disappointing 2The valve leaks airThis product is defective. The inflatable valve leaks air at every pressure level. It will deflate within 24 hours, and I don't mean a minor loss of pressure. If you inflate the globe and leave it overnight it will be empty when you return to it in the morning. 1Great funWe got this to play with for birthday party in May and left it outside whole time. It's now July and ball has stayed unscathed even during rain and wind. Kids love since so big. 5Great globe for the price.My son was not thrilled to receive a gift that was educational, but I love this globe. We cannot afford $100 and up for a globe, so we really enjoy this one. I am not a professor in geography nor in world history, so my concern was not with the accuracy of the borders of Uzbekistan, etc. I just needed a low price way to show my son distances, areas, oceans, etc. we have inflated numerous times and have not had any issues with seams leaking; we do not leave it blown up when not in use. But when we are watching the news, and have questions about where that country is, who are it's neighbors, how far away is it, etc., we blow up our globe and research it.
