So much fun!This was a delightful purchase & it put a smile on my face when I opened the box & wrote a little Love Note to my hubby. This will also be useful in my craft work, or cut into strips & hole punched to use as gift tag, or just to jot a small note to put a smile on someone s face. Each notecard is about the size of a post it type note but this is magical. You write your note with the included wooden stylus or use an empty ball point pen (recycling perk!) and under the black chalkboard material, your note is rainbow colors! I will be buying this again for sure & will also try the silver holographic color! Another plus... the box becomes the dispenser for the notecards. Kudos to Purple Ladybug! It arrived in perfect condition & on time. Very pleased & I would recommend. Note: I was NOT given any discount for the product. I just wanted to give a 5 star rating for a clever product that made me smile after a rough day. :) 5Fun, and plenty of itThe problem with most scratch-off papers is that you get about six pieces of paper, and then it's all gone. This gives you 150, which means that you can do all kinds of stuff. The process of scratching the black "paint" off the paper does produce some dust or flakes, but it's not hard to wipe it up at the end.If you're curious how the colors work, then I'm uploading a photo that shows one with all the black scratched off. I talked to my 1st graders about "The House in the Night" by Susan Marie Swanson and then used these notes to let them experience being scratchboard artists. They loved it! There were enough notes to cover the 100 or so students participating in the activity with leftovers. Good quality and an economical way to allow scratchboard artistry. 5So Fun!I love using these scratch off notes to leave friemds and coworkers little notes, words of encouragement, etc. They are also very cool for doodling! The paper is covered in a sort of black chalky substance, and you scratch it to reveal the rainbow colored paper underneath. Kids think that it is magic. These pages are small, but I think that they are big enough for young kids to experiment with. We draw out our pictures using toothpicks. 5
