Customer Reviews

I am disappointed in this product for 2 reasonsI am disappointed in this product for 2 reasons. 1) The alphabet box for some reason has 36 cards. All 26 letters and extra random letters. It would be nice if they gave enough to make another full set instead of just random cards. 2) The numbers box only goes up to 12 even though there are 36 cards in the box. The colors/shapes and first words seem to be ok. My daugther already knows numbers up to 12. I wanted to expand her learning but these cards won't help.3Fun and durable,Somethings on here my baby is looking at it like what is that, (lol)But honestly by baby is 1 and is already learning colors and alphabets. This is a great way to get any baby startedIt's hard to keep them focus but when you have them spread out everywhereEach card he picks up we spell and say what it is and he gets excited.I love that it isn't so easy to rip as you know how kids are.My baby even went one of the cards when his hand was wet and it still is holding up pretty well.It comes with a lot of card within each box, (it comes in 4 small boxes inside a bigger box)(One I keep in the car, so only 3 is shown)5A few things to noteThese are ok for the price which i got them for but had it cost more i would not have purchased this:- The size of the cards are good which is on average 3.5 inches x 5 inches- The flash cards was very soft, thin and overall flimsy so its easy to get damaged by toddlers.- The illustrations that are on some of the cards or how some of them represent the letters. It may be difficult for some kids to identify. But i believe it will still serve its purpose and the difference can open them up to learn new things.- So far I only opened the ABC and noticed that there were two of some letters but all the others are just one in each which doesn t make much sense to me. Either do one of each or two of each.I will update this review when I go through the others3My childMy child loved when we got these- he was about 15 months- he loved pointing and trying to say words or colors- but most of all- he loved DESTROYING THEM. Bc they have that film over them- he loved wrinkling them and bending them and then eventually tearing them once they weakened... Now he loves coloring on them when we arent doing flash card time.5Great deal on flash cards for toddlers.I like the cards my kiddo is 19 months and he loves them repeats and recognizes a lot of the objects already. I can see some of the critiques for the images, but the purpose of these cards are general association and I think for the purpose they are a great deal for the price. I took pictures of some of the more unusual images and some just for examples. The cards thickness is card stock, so I'm not sure what the paper thin complaints are about they are the thickness I expected.5Educational...but flimsyMy little one is 22 months, and knows her colors and shapes fairly well. I thought these cards would make a nice addition to her playthings. I know the recommended age is 3+, but most little ones know their colors/shapes fairly early....I had to take out some of the shapes (cube, cone, cylinder, etc) because when I tried the set with her, she couldn't comprehend the difference between cone and triangle yet, understandably. As for the colors set, I couldn't understand why some colors were repeated in different hues, and some were not. There's one card with both black and white on it, but no single black card. (huh?) Again, had to adjust the set. The numbers cards have enough for 2 sets and some replacements, but again, why the uneven sets?? Maybe I'm not using them the way they should be, but it was a little confusing why some numbers would be repeated -- in multiplicity -- and others not. The graphics on the numbers were also not repeated, which may account for little ones being confused (there's cats on this one...but the other one has a gorilla...and there's a turtle there....all to represent the number??) Parents would do best to adjust the sets as needed for their children. Oh, and the cards are sort of flimsy -- they're flashcards, after all, -- and will wrinkle/crease when your toddler gleefully grabs them and runs around the room, pretending they're wings. :)4Great for Learning Toddlers! This was really a steal! My 2 yr old loves doing her flash cards. With 4 different packs included & variety of materials, multiple options are at your fingertips! Do a pack at a time, mix them, make it a timed game! The cards are decent quality- not paper thin. I also like the size of the cards- they re not the size of a deck of playing cards. The only thing I d mention for improvement is the box each set comes in- the adhesive only held up on one box & we ve had them for only a few months.5These cards are okI purchased this product to help my 4 year old grandson prepare for kindergarten. The colors are vivid and the letters, numbers, and objects are clearly printed on good quality card stock. I prefer other illustrations than the "Potatoe Head" ones. These cards are laced with such. Also, it seems important for companies to spell "school" the more correct way. I've never liked seeing words deliberately misspelled, especially when we are using the product to teach children. Considering the price of this set of flash cards, the quality, and the overall functionality, I can positively recommend the set.4Colors do not have the color word on the any of the cards.I would have preferred the colors cards to have the word at the bottom of the card - but what you get is a card with a red circle on it with Circle at the bottom of the card. So teaching the color does not show the word at the same time. For example, for circle - you have to say what color is the circle? So they are learning the color but it would just be nice to see RED on the card somewhere as well - maybe even on the back. I will be buying separate cards now for colors and I thought I was getting everything in one. The other three packs are great.4I am not happy with the graphics on the actual cardsThe package came on time. The 4 packs of cards were inside. I am not happy with the graphics on the actual cards. The art work is not legible and very difficult to make out. As a child learning how to compare an apple to an apple on a card, it would be more beneficial if the apple looked like an actual apple instead of what they sent me. For example, the apple pictured on the box is not what it looks like on the card, instead it has pointy edges. Something as simple as the sun was difficult for my niece, because it looks more like an egg This goes for every card in the boxes except for the shapes. I feel like this is 100% a knock off brand and I do not recommend spending the money. My sister in law has the actual card which she purchased from target and they are the ones that are shown on the display not the knock off cards this company sends. If you are looking for a cheap deal along with cheap cards then this will be fine for you. I wish I had read more of the reviews rather then look at the rating because it's apparent a lot of other people have had the same problem.1
