    FragileSanta brought this for my 6 yo who looooooves all things mlp, and especially equestria dolls. She opened her gift and squealed with delight. After mommy finally got the dolls free, she held them both and introduced them to each other. Then said, "look mom, they can do the splits!" No they cannot. She was gentle with the dolls, but they are not made well. Inside the thick leg is a tiny piece of plastic. It is skinnier than a toothpick. It snapped just from her pushing the legs all the way forward. Not to the side, all the way forward. It was so disappointing. We are going to try to exchange for another set because this is what she wants for Christmas. I'm extremely disappointed in hasbro for this low quality toy. 3Good quality dolls, designed for older childrenMy daughter recently had her my little pony obsession, especially with the Equestria girls.She really wanted Twilight Sparkle, but I grabbed this set so she could get both the hero and the Villain of the movie.I think these were okay-quality dolls, they are definitely for an older child due to all the small parts, I had no issues of limbs popping off, and they seemed well constructed. I think there's definitely an extra cost to them for the name, but this is the case with any toy.I was happy with the purchase, these are cute little dolls, my only wish is that my daughters obsession with My Little Pony lasted more than a month, she was already onto the next thing (of course right after everyone got her EVERY doll from Equestria girls for Christmas) - Now we're onto something completely different!Oh well ! 5Would recommend to anyoneCute dolls for the price!! The hair on both dolls is soft and colorful they each come with accessories that you can use for any of the MLP equestria dolls. The only weird thing is unlike regular barbies if you lose a shoe you kind lose part of the dolls leg. The boots are attached to the legs but they have no ankles or feet. If you lose a shoe you will have a pirate MLP doll. Even with that they are really cute sturdy dolls. My daughter almost has the full set. 5Very equestriaFun but the leg style is easily breakaway and terrible hard to fix. The other modelsHave stronger joints.Otherwise a pretty package and affordable for those fans who love this set. 3Cute duo!A fun duet for a 5-year old; she loves these two and knew all about them. There's plenty of extra gadgetry to mix and match: wings, crowns, earring thingies, brushes for their very long hair, shoes, etc. They're bendable at the hip and arms...so, they can do the splits, but not bend their knees. Another item that the My Little Pony girl would not let out of her sight for several days. 5Good Buy for an MLP FanBought this for my MLP obsessed daughter. She is four.The Good: She loved it! They came in an unopened packaged that was intact without any rips or tears. Opening the box was easy, and you don't need scissors, just a well placed tug to release the ties. Both Equestria girls looked liked their movie counterparts (with Twilight a little more glammed up, but that's okay) and the accessories were cute. Their hair was neither tangled nor unmanageable and my daughter has had fun styling them. Great price for two hard to find dolls!The Bad: They don't have feet! Seriously, the legs end in nubs that have to be stuck into their shoes, and the fit is kind of off. We've already lost Twilight's left boot a few times. It's not a major complaint, just a little annoying.The Ugly: N/AFinal thoughts: I'd buy this again. I'd buy it for a friend. I'd definitely buy it for anyone who loves MLP. 4this is the only way to get sunset shimmer!so, as my daughter pointed out... you can buy the twilight sparkle (purple doll) anywhere. but the only way to get sunset shimmer is in this two pack. so if you have already purchased a twilight sparkle at the store, and you are looking to complete your collection of equestria girls dolls... you get stuck buying twilight again in this two pack as sunset shimmer is not sold as a single toy. a neat little gimmick that greedy turds at mattel and hasbro like to do.but, the dolls are great and my daughter loves them. decent quality, though as most everything from mattel they are way over priced for what you get if you buy them in the store. at retail these were $30+i was able to pick them up from amazon for $18. 4My girls love themI purchased this set for my girls who love mlp. The dolls were cute (in a weird turn a horse to a person way) but built pretty well. My only issue honestly is that both dolls have a hole in the back for wings but only one set of wings were in the box, which caused massive termoil here since one doll went to one daughter and the other to well obviously the other daughter, but who gets the wings? Luckily we know how to diy your own wings that clip to a dolls outfit and promptly made another set (search youtube for videos on that, they are crazy easy and use the plastic from the box! and no they arent videos posted by me) I am glad I bought them from amazon though because upon FINALLY seeing one set of these in a store for nearly $12 more than what I paid I realized just how quickly supply and demand works on prices at even big department stores! 5Pretty good but some issues- Review from my daughter.The dolls were not to the quality I expected. The box says that they should have articulating knees and elbows, but in fact they are a single solid piece that will not move. Additionally, the body, hair, and clothes had a chalky substance on them which was not expected or desirable. Sunset Shimmer's jacket is sewn together and is not designed to be removed (but you can cut the string and remove it that way). Oddly enough, Sunset Shimmer has the wing mounting hole!Even with those issues, they're still pretty good dolls. 3These dolls are cute.My daughter watched the movie and immediately wanted these dolls. I found this two pack and seen the price and knew it was a steal! My daughter is huge into Monster High and Monster High only. So, for her to tell me that she wanted these dolls was surprising! They are very cute looking, but they are also very light. They feel very delicate and fragile. The clothes are okay, they seem a bit cheap. Sunset Shimmer's jacket came open and had a string that came in a loop, but it is impossible to tie back. The picture shows that you get two hair brushes, but you actually only get one. They don't have feet either(not that that's a problem, just wanted to let you know). Their shoes actually pop off revealing stumps. My daughter seems to like them, but every time I walk passed her room she is always playing with her Monster High and I've only seen her play with these a handful of times. 4
