A "Church Bag" Must Have! Entertaining for little ones and bigger littles!Another "Church Bag" must have for little hands and minds to stay busy during church. It's great to have activities that are bible based that can be easily transported and contained by a zip closure.7/20/2018 Update: When we first purchased this we used this with our 4 year-old nice and nephew. They are still entertained by it today (now 6 years old - it really does go fast!). We now have our own little one who is 10 months old. She loves this book at church! To keep it novel we only bring it out at church. The one downside with a little one vs. the older kids is that pieces are not tethered. We do have other quiet books and any removable pieces are attached. At the end of Mass we do a quick pew check to ensure Jonah is back in the whale's mouth for another round of Sunday fun in the future. 5It's a hit!This is a lovely quiet book that is appropriate for church and other occasions where the little ones need to be occupied to stay quiet. Note that the pieces aren't attached, so you do need to pay attention to make sure you don't lose a piece after it's played with. One of the lovely surprises was many of the pieces are also finger puppets. I'm sure this will be enjoyed for years to come by my grandchildren. 4Terrific 'Quiet' Activity Book!This 'quiet book' is the best I have found. It is a bit pricey, but worth it. I like that each page has something for the child to do; I also like that it has a zipper closure. However, my favorite part is that the pages are based on Bible stories. 5LOve the book and kept 1 year old quietly busy ...Will buy another. Only issue is the small pieces should be tethered like the fishes were although I understand the tethering of fishes was supposed to be like fishing line. It has several pages, enough to keep it interesting, and the activities inside are accessible enough for a 2 year old but challenging enough to keep a 4 year old busy. (Arrange by size, arrange by number, buttons, snaps, simple shape matching puzzle) My 2 year old loves the book and is delighted to see it again during church each week. Our 4 year old is pretty interested as well, and I almost wish we had one for her too. The book's only con is that we have to do a quick flip through at the end of church each week to make sure the pieces are all still there, but that's a small price to pay for quiet in church! The book seems to be made well and the pieces seem like they will last a long time as long as we don't lose them! I wish I'd had one of these a long time ago for my older children! 5but I love it so farThis is a gift for our little granddaughter. She has yet to see it, but I love it so far! I'm hoping the pieces won't get lost. I thought of sewing cords on them to attach them to the book, but I thought I would let my daughter look at it and see if she wants me to do that after she sees it. It's well made and should last throughout our grandchild's quiet times, as well as her future siblings.Also, the shipment on this was almost next day! I anticipated a longer turnaround time, but was pleasantly surprised!Thank you for such a great product! The baby loves the book and my niece says it's her favorite book to play with and it keeps her busy for a long time. The baby always gets excited when she brings out this quiet book. It's also fun to be interactive with him and teach him the scriptures in a way we all, but especially children can learn and understand! Visual descriptions of the scripture! Worth every penny! I love that I can toss this in the washer to clean:) 5worth the costkeeps my daughter busy and quiet at only a year old she loves it. it is very easy to lose pieces however but would defiantly buy again. 4
