The best baby doll for a little boyWe bought this doll for our 6 month old (at the time) son. He loved to take the pacifier off of him and put it in his mouth to chew on. After a few weeks we were able to teach him that was the baby's pacifier and showed him how to put it back on him by himself. At 12 months now, he likes to take his clothes off but hasn't figured out how to get them back on. The baby is washable on the gentle cycle and has held up very, very well. I only wish the diaper on the baby was a little nicer. I am considering changing the current velcro closures to a more substantial closure. Right now you have a very small amount of velcro that you have to close exactly right to get the diaper to stay on. If we were to change it I think our son would get the hang of it better. 5however that one is all vinyl and not so easy to cuddleMy two year old loves playing with another "boy" baby doll I got him a year ago from a department store, however that one is all vinyl and not so easy to cuddle. It's also hard to undress, and do diaper changes like he wants to do.I saw this Baby Stella doll, and while I loved the look of it, and how soft it was, I kept looking for a better priced doll with all the features this one offered. I couldn't find any other soft dolls for less money whose clothes he could take off and diapers were changeable. So, I came back to this one and figured I could always give it to a friend if my son didn't take to it. Well, as I write this, he's sleeping in his bed with his new doll, and he loves it. He feeds him a bottle, dresses him, changes his diaper, and reads him stories before nap time. It's truly adorable how much he loves his new baby.The price is a little steep, but the quality is wonderful and he really does seem to gravitate towards its endearingly embroidered face, and bottom weighted body. I find myself holding it from time to time while playing housekeeping with my son, and thinking how much I would have enjoyed this doll as a little girl.Bottom line, I'd recommend this doll to any parent looking for a soft cuddly "boy" doll for their child. 5cute.My grandson liked some "babies" that he saw in the store. While a pink dressy doll would have been fine, I suppose, I wanted a doll that looked more like him (the grandson.) The dinosaur onesie sealed the deal. It is very cute. My grandson does like the baby and uses it in imaginative play but no more than any of his stuffed animals. And - he is naked now. I even bought an extra outfit (with monkeys) but he is more into undressing than dressing right now. He is a toddler.I do wish some of the accessories came in other color schemes. Again - pink potties and beds etc. are probably fine. but I am not a fan of pink. I am not too worried about gender rules in regards to colors. I just don't like pink all that much. 4Absolutely adorable & perfect! For boy or girl!Precious as can be! Would like to see more outfits offered for Fella though. Our daughter received her first Baby Stella doll before she was one and still sleeps with a Baby Stella doll most nights and treats it as if it s her real baby...it s so darn cute! She has 3 full-size Stella dolls (almost bald, black hair, blonde, and affectionately named them Stella, Bella & Ella. She has always wanted a boy one so she could name him Fella...lol. Lo & behold it s the name he came with! This outfit is so perfect and cute. Quality material, well-made, easy for our daughter (& our friend s 4yo daughter) to dress & undress. Would definite buy again! The magnetic accessories are a huge hit! 5Not the same doll as the originalMy mother in law originally bought this doll for my daughter two years ago. Since then we now have a 16 month old boy who loves this doll. I decided to order a second doll to limit the fighting over "baby Josh", but I'm very disappointed in the quality of this new doll. I'm not sure if the quality of the manufacturer has changed or if this is a knock off doll? There are many obvious quality differences you can notice in the pictures. It feels and looks like it has less stuffing in the legs and arms, the clothing and diaper material is completely different, the head, feet and hands are much larger on the new doll, the head is square and ears are lopsided on the new doll, and the material the doll is made of is much different feeling (rougher) and looking. Haven't decided if I will keep it or send it back. Quality wise it's about a $10 doll. 1"Baby Stella" Boy - a fantastic choice!I was staying with our two year old grandson when his Mama and Daddy brought home his new baby brother. Even though Mom and Dad did a fantastic job giving a whole lot of attention to the two year old and letting him "help" with the new arrival, it was still hard for him to understand the big change in his little world. After someone suggested getting an older brother or sister a doll to take care of, I started looking at dolls on Amazon. I knew the second I saw the Manhattan Toy Boy doll that it would be best for our boy because this particular two year old is not very "maternal" (though loving, he drags his stuffed animals and plays catch with them and takes them to his sand box to play with his trucks), so a soft doll would be best. This doll is adorable and very soft!!When we opened the box from Amazon and he saw the doll, I have never seen this child so excited! "His" baby had arrived. He takes his baby everywhere, pulls him in his wagon ... already has him potty trained :), and his Mom has made a back pack so the baby can go outside with him. They play with his trucks ... he shares all of his toys with his baby! He named his baby doll, "Bubba"! He really takes excellent care of Bubba! I don't know if a Manhattan Toy Baby Stella Boy (or girl) doll will help every little one who is about to have their world turned upside down (or so they think) by a new sibling, but it has been wonderful for our precious boy! It's really amazing to watch! 5This one is perfect. The binky is magnetic and super cuteI searched high and low for a little boy doll for my son. He has little girl baby dolls and I wanted him to have an boy as well. This one is perfect. The binky is magnetic and super cute. The binky seems big enough that it would not pose a choking risk, but it seemed iffy, so when I put the doll in his crib with him I'd just take the binky away. 5Great first doll!I bought this doll for my 20 month old to go with a stroller I bought him, He LOVES this baby! He loves to do what I do to him and feed the baby, push it in its stroller, "burp" it and he even sleeps with it every night! It's adorable! This doll is so soft as well! When my son drug it outside in the rain with him I was able to put it in a pillowcase and wash it on gentle. Then I kept it in the pillowcase and dried it on low/air fluff. It came out brand new! Great first doll for any boy or girl! 5The quality sucks for a $30 dollFalling apart after 2 months. The magnet has left a awful black spot on its face. The quality sucks for a $30 doll. I would not recommend, seems super cute at first but does not last long before it s trashed. And all he does is sleep with it. The magnet from the pacifier discolored the face. Disappointed 1Lovely doll!Arrived a day earlier than scheduled. Yay! This is a nice little doll and perfect size for my 3 year old. It's weighted nicely but not too heavy. The pacifier is kind of ridiculously big in scale. My 3 year old doesn't care though and loves this doll. Some of the stitching is loose and came undone though, especially on the diaper. It's an easy fix but a little disappointing right out of the box. I'll probably be making more clothes for this doll anyway as the clothes are crazy expensive. I'm so glad to see a doll that isn't all pink pink pink! I would love to see more with similar color schemes. I'll definitely be recommending these dolls for any of my friends looking for a baby doll and they're priced well enough to make a nice gift. 4
