    Fun GameOne of the favorites in our house, and surprisingly easy once you play it once or twice it becomes second nature. The game pieces are fun colored glass-looking animals and the board is nice and smooth for play. The hinges on the gameboard are not well designed however and at some point it will break off, especially if I let me 6 year old put it back in the box. We store the wooden game board in the box because at some point the gameboard hinges will break and we will have to store it somewhere else. 3Fun way to connect & use strategic thinking. Minor board design flaw (doesn t impact play)We love this game (kids, teens and adults)! The board is nice and the colored animal game pieces are attractive for younger/all audiences. The game pieces are plastic and vary from fish to rhinos.The wooden board folds, which is nice. The pieces have to be on one side of the board and spread out evently for the game to close. Unlike other folding game boards, this one does not have a clasp to keep the board closed when not in play. the pieces can fall out & easlity be lost during transportation. We ve placed our set in a large ziplock. I couldn t find a suitable bag that could ensure pieces didn t get lost and also be a good fit to prevent the board from opening or being damaged during transport from game closet to table or during storage. 4At first I wasn't sure I liked the little animal partsAt first I wasn't sure I liked the little animal parts, but they grew on us and it's pretty cute. If we loose them, we can just go down to Hobby Lobby and pick up some little glass beads to replace them. The wooden part of the game is nice and sturdy. 5room for improvementMy daughter loves this mancala set, but I think it could be improved if they deepened the pockets for the animals because they overflow out, and this could use a final sanding for the rough edges, but overall, good game for the price. 4A surprisingly (no offense) beautiful version for kids!You get what you expected to receive. A unique looking version of the game you know. The little animal pieces look like glass (they re plastic which is a plus. I mean they have to be, it s aimed at kids)I have a 11 year old and a 5 year old who love playing. My older one has to guide the younger one every now and then. But that s to be expected. Great looking pieces, the kids love it, and pretty inexpensive. I say pretty inexpensive because I wish the box had a little latch of some sort. Again this is aimed at kids who lets face it, are not the best at keeping things tidy. So if there was a latch it would be easier to keep the pieces together. Overall a great purchase! This set has a nice heavy wooden fold up gameboard with 48 plastic animal tokens. The set would be nicer if the tokens were glass or polished stone. Instructions for play are included and written very clearly in English unusual. Game pieces are a choking hazard and not appropriate for small children. 4My 6 and 7 year old girls love this gameMy 6 and 7 year old girls love this game. The little animals are adorable. They do fill up the little holes quickly but it isn't that big of a nuisance. 4 stars because there is an ugly "Made in China" stamp on one side of the box you can see when it is closed, but we just put a big sticker over it. The wood doesn't look too pretty or anything, just plain, but it is a great beginner set to make sure the kids even enjoy the game. 4Fun game for all ages, cute piecesI bought this for my six year old. The pieces are super cute and the game is easy enough to play for a six year old, but I also enjoy playing it with my husband. My four year old likes to play with the little animals too. The board folds up on itself for storage so it cleans up easily without losing pieces. I would recommend this for any kids, it is easy to pick up the idea of the game after a few rounds. 5New favorite game!We had a 10-in-1 game set that used little beans for mancala and very small pockets. I taught the kids to play that and they enjoyed it so much that I decided to get this one. They LOVE it! They love playing the game, and love the little animals. I love the compact storage, the portability, not chasing marbles across the house, and, of course, game time with the kids! My kids are 4, 6, and 8. The 4 year old likes to play for fun, the 8 and especially the 6 year old enjoy the strategy. I see us playing this for years to come! 5Not a bad beginner set for younger kidsThis set wouldn't be a bad beginner set for kids aged 7-11, but the pits are too shallow and the animal tokens overflow them very easily. I went to Dollar Tree and got some of the glass stones to use instead. 3
