    Fun gameWhat a super fun classic game to play with the family. We are very pleased with this purchase and will use it for a long time. The construction COULD be better. Some of the holes aren't drilled really well, so I took off a star for that. As a result pegs often flipped out of the holes. I finally reamed out all the holes just a tiny bit by re-drilling them with a 1/8" bit (arranged to not drill too deeply), after which everything worked fine. (Trying to sand or cut down the pegs a little didn't solve the problem:-)The '29' pattern looks and feels clever, and avoids the confusion of doubling back often found with tiny travel boards. But it has its cons too: rather large to carry because it doesn't fold, no card storage, a bit confusing for some players who in absence of colored tracks try to use"inside" and "outside" to remember which track they should be in.(I paid 8.50 [plus free shipping with Prime] a couple months ago.) 3Good quality but some holes needa little redrilling.Some of the reviews said this board is too thin, I don't agree - It's a nice small size for taking along on a trip and the storage compartment is well made for the plastic pins. The holes do not line up perfectly in places but that isn't a deal breaker. The only issue to be corrected is to visually inspect all the holes and use a small drill to clean out the holes a little better. The manufacturer could stand to look at their operation and correct these issues. All in all, a good cribbage board but could be excellent if they took more time on quality. 4Great design, poor executionOK, so it's cribbage. If you don't know cribbage, it's a great game, you should play it.About the board:It's shaped like a 29, the highest single hand you can get (never got it myself), features a storage compartment underneath for the wooden pegs and has three tracks that are marked every five peg holes for quick counting.Pros:I like the 3 track concept. I often play 3-handed and 2 track boards don't allow 3 hand game-play.I like the straight 'race track' style peg holes. Some boards double back on themselves making it more difficult to see how far behind you are.There are 3 of each colored peg (green, red, and blue) so you can loose one and still play on.Cons: Some peg holes on the board look like they were drilled by a drunken sailor in high seas.The peg compartment cover door is too loose and will open rather easily. We quickly remedied this with a piece of tape over the edge to hold it closed.Overall, the quality of the board is low, but the features are great. Even with the limitations, I still recommend this board and have enjoyed using it more than standard 2 track boards. 4Great gift idea for Cribbage loversThis is the third "29" Cribbage board I have purchased as gifts. The "29" being the highest score you can attain in Cribbage is fascinating since it displays the only hand that can total 29 points. I rated it a "4" because the board is smaller than the first two I purchased, but I'm giving it as a gift anyway because it is still an interesting board to p;ay on. I guess I should have known by the price that there was something different about the board - still love it. 4Clean and nice, needed easy to do adjustment.Happy to have this improved layout for scoring a favorite game. The only down side of this board is the WHITE lines on a very light colored wooden surface. This made it difficult to score - UNTIL I took a BLACK felt marker and changed the white spacing bars along the 'streets' with black lines. Now its much easier to use and score correctly. 4Older is Better than the NewMy aunt's current cribbage board (like this one which as seen many games) was losing its colors and showing much wear. Subsequently, I ordered another like board for her. It's okay but not as good as the old one. Not all the holes are drilled properly. The pegs don't want to fit in easily is some of the holes and there is no hole for the 121th point. 3great for the kids as a learning boardquality is low key. Holes are not lined up evenly and some. The points and skunk lines are sometimes punched into the graphics. It is even worst near the turns on the board.2. Very thin board compared to higher quality of same style.3. Board graphics don't line up with the holes. The skunk line symbols are drilled through as well as many of the score markers.4. No storage spot for cards. Only has storage spot for pegs.5. Pegs are plastic as opposed to metal. I purchased metal pegs seperate. 3Perfect gift for my husbandMy husband has been looking for a 29 cribbage board for a long time, and I am glad I found this one. It is perfect. Great quality, the pegs fit in the holes perfectly, there is even a place for a winner peg. The only thing is where the pegs can be stored, the latch is a little loose-but nothing a little piece of tape can't fix. I highly recommend it though. My husband just loved it! 5
