Very good quality.Wow. The magnets are quite strong. More than I thought they would be. I bought it for my granddaughter 2nd birthday. I know that it was recommended for a little bit older child, but I figured there weren't small enough pieces for her to swallow. However, after seeing her use them, I realized that she needs to be a bit older. The magnets are so strong that it is hard for her to make a shape. I really like these, though, and intend to buy her kmore. Very good quality. 5Seems pricey for the amount you get but solid product.Seems pricey for the amount of pieces you get however they are sturdy and reliable with little to no oddness about he magnetic connectionsThese are a not exactly blocks in a standard sense. The magnets are reasonably strong but hte rounded edges allow a lot of flexibility of motion and connection. You can build a wide array of shapes. One of the most fun things my kids like to do is to try to figure out how to make pull up shapes or roll up shapes where you make something that is flat and then roll it or pull it and gravity+magnetism will help "build" the final shape. 5Hand, eye, brain builder - highly recommend!I've been watching this product on a tv sales channel but didn't want to commit to the large priced set and was pleased to find this small beginner's set for our 3-year-old granddaughter. We took 6 gifts to her, not all toys, and this was the favorite! She was building a "bean" tower (her favorite word) that night and first thing next morning. But my stepdaughter and son-in-law also were having fun so I have already acquired a larger set. Do not hesitate to get this for your child but be prepared to help them and the time investment will be well rewarded! Oh, and if you must be cautious as I am and get the smaller set "just in case" it isn't welcomed, have a larger set standing by, you WILL be a hero! 5best idea ever!I'm in the process of licensing my home daycare and ordered these to fill a 'toy' requirement. these have been the most played with item in my home. i'm going to need to order another set. the kids (everyone from 2 yr to 12 yr olds) love them and they have provided HOURS of imaginative play! 5This Magformers set is a GREAT set to sit and play with, sometimes for hours!!! Imagination have at it!!This Magformers set was on sale (A real good one too) So I picked it up as a fill in gift for my 8 year old who likes to tinker with things...WELL.... This became one of her most LOVED gifts. She spent hours just toying with the 14 pc set and then told me she would love to have more pieces to build bigger things. Since I seen how much she enjoys building with Legos and K'nex I decided to get her two more/different sets of the Magformers and now, every day she builds something new and different. She tells me this set is easy to put together and take apart so she does all her K'nex pre-planning on the Magformers first!! 5Weak magnetsMy daughter had found another brand of these at a toy store and loved playing with them. Got this brand for xmas and the magnets are not as strong, which takes away from the fun of them. They still stick together, but barely. If I hadn't tossed the packaging right away, I would probably return and pay the extra $8 for a different brand at the local toy store. 3Magformers are the best! Get several setsMagformers are a great especially for school-age children. I have several different sets. I work as a counselor in a public school and all the kids love them. This is a very basic set - so I strongly recommend buying this set only to add to an existing collection. I made my original purchases from QVC. The only thing lacking in the QVC sets were the Idea booklet that shows many construction ideas. I wanted to add some more basic pieces to my larger QVC set, so this was perfect for me. The squares and triangles are used the most. It's a fun activity for all ages - even adults. Magformers aren't as widely known about as Legos, and it's a different activity than Legos --but if you are looking for a good gift for a child, I strongly suggest considering Magformers. ***Please note that I do not recommend this small basic set for a gift by itself; buy this set in addition to a bigger set. There are many choices available. It may seem a bit expensive, but it's really a great value when you see how much fun you will have. 5FantasticThis is a fantastic toy and I look forward to getting more pieces. This box is a starter set and you can only make so much with it but I wanted to see how we liked the toy before spending more. My 2.5 year old is still a bit young to play with it and tends to get frustrated trying to make the pieces work together but he enjoys seeing me make the ball (It's shown on the back of the box how to make it). When it's done, he takes it apart and asks me to make it again and again. I believe that he will be enjoying this toy more on his own in a few months. 5Great Birthday Gift! Wonderful STEM Toy!These STEM toys make great birthday gifts! A hit with kids age 3-7 and older. The 14 and 30 piece sets (on sale) are great Magformers starter sets or add-ons. Tens even play with younger siblings. Like Legos, you can't go wrong.If you are deciding between Magna Tiles and Magformers, look into TileBlox made by Magformers, very similar to Magna Tikes.Between Magformers and Magna Tiles, Magfirmers have more shapes and "accessories". Accessories include: wheels, gears, remote comtrolled motors, windows, doors, other housing pieces, and more. Curved pieces, circles, half and quarter circles, various triangles, larger squares and triangles, and other shapes are great for teaching geometry through play. 5Great creative toyGreat toy for kids who like to create things. My child and I spent many hours playing with this Magformers set. It s a great creative toy that can be made into countless objects. I should add that we have more than one set but this is a great starter set. 5
