    Fun set but wish the quality is betterMy baby boy just turned 20 months and he loves pretend cooking. We got him a play kitchen and figured we need some food for extra fun and challenge. He has seen these Velcro cutting fruits before from a YouTube video and fell in love since then. I have done my research on Amazon and decided to give these a try.He loves them immediately when I open the packing. He was able to figure out himself finding the knife and cutting these fruits immediately. I love how there is an extra basket to hold the food. They do keep him busy for probably 10 minutes. He was also able to learn these fruits after playing with them for a few days. For example, I will say let's cut the grapes! He will go look for the grapes and start cutting. He also picked up the words "cut" and "grapes" for example along with other fruits.The only complaint that I have would be the quality. It feels flimsy for certain fruits. The Velcro started to come off for a few fruits after 2 weeks of playing. My toddler only cuts with the toy knife and probably just 10 mins max each day. So it does not hold up too well. I would expect better quality for this price I am paying. Otherwise, it is a good set.I hope they will improve the quality for a little bit. 3My nephew LOVES this set!I bought this for my 2.5 yr old nephew, and he loves it. He brings me all the vegetables so I can put them back together immediately after he chops them.The veggies are of good quality and fun, bright colors which my nephew seems to respond to. They can all be stored in the neat "basket" they came in (not that toddlers care much for organization!)Since we got him this toy, he has started "chopping" his own bananas for snack time using the knife provided (washed very carefully between uses, of course). When he sees his mother starting to cook in the kitchen he hops up onto his stool, ready to help with the knife that came with this set.There are a couple veggies that he doesn't have the coordination yet to cut easily, but most of these veggies are easy to grab and cut. He will undoubtedly keep trying as his motor skills improve!Overall I'm very pleased with this product, and will be ordering another set for my niece! 5Overall Decent productKeep in mind the item is not exactly as pictured. If I had taken the time to look carefully at the reviews I would have noticed that the knife is green and orange, I wish it was the color of the picture the seller posted which is why I took off one star. Overall it is a decent looking set, I like that it comes in a crate so we can store everything in the crate. The play foods look good, was a reasonable price and will serve the purpose I was looking for. 4This is one of the best buys for my classroom that I have ever madeI have a class of autistic students grades 3 to 7. One of their centers is Liberty Imports Kitchen Cutting Fruits and they adore it!! This is one of the best buys for my classroom that I have ever made. It helps my students socially to interact with visiting staff, asking the staff what fruit they would like and cutting it in half and serving it to them. It helps the student with fine motor skills and they enjoy playing with it. The fruit is brightly colored and comes in a variety of shapes The students find the pieces easy to cut in half due to the Velcro. Very popular. 5My son loves this!My 18 month old son loves this! I love the fact that he can cut them too, it teaches him how to use a knife safely and he can learn about fruits and veggies too. I also like that it comes with a crate to keep everything together. The only reason I knocked off a star is that the plastic food is pretty cheap quality and you can tell they aren't all made the same (different materials). Also, I was missing some of the fruit that is shown in the picture. Overall I am happy with this purchase though. 4A win win! I purchased this for my son as a holiday gift because he has seen the videos of them on YouTube and loves them. BUT. The packaging is BRIGHT PINK WITH A LITTLE GIRL ON IT. It is clearly an item that is being marketed strictly towards little girls. This is a gender neutral product and should be marketed as such.Not to be a baby about it, but if there was more time before the holidays, I would order one made by a different manufacturer. A tad miffed over here. 4Surprised at good qualityI was pleasantly surprised how good the quality of these were. I tried ordering a different set from another company before this and the velcro was already coming off and the paint was rubbing on stuff. These don't have any of those issues. The velcro is super sticky (almost too sticky for my 20 month old but she'll get there) and the colors are great. 5Quite goodI bought these to add hooks and make them in to Christmas ornaments but my 3 year old loved them so much we le him have them. I only gave 4 stars because A. The quality is quite cheap compared to another set I also purchased, B. The chopsticks are too sharp for kids (again, I also bought another set from a different maker and those chopsticks are thicker and blunt so kids can t stab themselves) 4The fruits are bright and vibrant and is made of very good quality plasticMy 2 year old LOVES this toy !!! It comes in a little pretty fruit crate/basket and has a knife and chopping board too !! This toy is the perfect addition to my kid's kitchen and it is giving us endless playtime with pretend juice and smoothie stand. It is also great for developing motor skills. We love this toy!!!! 5
