    Great Craft!It is hard to find crafts more geared towards boys. Purchased this as a craft for my 2 dragon loving boys for snow days and they loved it. Kept them busy for awhile and still have and play with the paper dragons months later. 5Dragons galore, who could ask for more?I orginally seen this product at Michaels ARts and Crafts retailing for 17 dollars. I thought that was rather high for a book of paper. However I found it on Amazon for way less and way stoked. This will be a present for my 10 year old cousin. I saw it in stores and thought where was this when I was a kid? The kit has enough for 12 dragons which I think is perfect thats a price point of $1 per dragon. They are pretty sturdy, will probably take more than 10 flies around the house. I actually think it would be cooler to make and display the dragons somehow. Totally cool, I seen a Harry potter one almost similar and was hooked. Great buy Great price Great gift idea. 5This Kit Soars Above Others.I'm not sure how I stumbled on the Klutz Paper Flying Dragons Kit but I am so glad I did. I needed a birthday gift for my nephew's 8th birthday and since his birthday is so close to Christmas I was struggling to find something that would be a great gift that didn't tie in to his other presents. He thoroughly enjoyed this and spent hours this weekend reading, cutting and flying his dragons. He reads rather well on his own so perspective buyers might consider that there is some reading involved. He's also really into building things so following step-by-step instructions was a breeze for him. The only thing he asked me for (and the only thing not included in this kit) was a pair of scissors to cut out the hatchlings. 5Son Loves ItI purchased this for my almost 13-year old son because he's had fun with paper airplanes in the past and he likes dragons. I was hoping he wouldn't have outgrown this sort of thing yet, as he can be pretty particular about how he spends his time and what he likes. He has been psyched about it for hours now. What does he really like? He appreciates how the creators of the book chose the characteristics, especially flight characteristics to match the type of dragon it is. He's been showing me how they each fly and spent a while in a very animated fashion explaining why he enjoys them so much and then comparing and contrasting the flight characteristics (while flying them). For example, he likes that the Mountain Dragon flies in a majestic manner as you'd expect that type of dragon to fly. Those were his words. Another nice bonus about this book is that is comes with interesting text, detailing information about the dragons -their history, size, diet, geographic region, etc...My son does enjoy reading, but he doesn't pick up books at home on a daily basis to just read. So that was a nice bonus, because he certainly did with this one. 5amazing for dragon lovers!My 8 year old has been obsessed with dragons since she read Wings of Fire a couple years ago. I debated on this book before purchasing but have been completely happy with it. The pictures are vivid and each dragon has a page of information (what makes it unique & interesting tidbits about the dragons). The only issue (not a complaint) is that the baby dragons must be cut out (large dragons punch out)...some of those details are too fine for kids. 5Wonderful for both my 8 year old and 12 year old grandsonsI purchased the paper flying dragons as an activity to do together when my grandsons visit. The dragons were very easy for both of my grandsons to construct. Furthermore, they provided hours of fun as both a craft and then flying them both inside and outside my home. It is difficult to find activities that are enjoyable for the age groups of both boys. This was easily one of the best crafts I have purchased that satisfied that purpose. I highly recommend them for any child who likes dragons. When my daughter came to pickup her sons, she decided to stay and make one for herself. Obviously, it was a success on many levels. 5this is the greatest!Had to find a gift for a young boy, had to look expensive and get his attention. This was the perfect gift. Even the parents were impressed and ask me how I found tnis. I just said I always look at Amazon first. As soon as I saw this I knew I had a winner. When you get a kid away from his electronic games then you've really made brownie points. I spent more on his older brother, but this was the most popular gift of all. 5Very neatI gave this to my craftsy, dragon loving son. He has had an absolute blast with them! I would caution that unless your child is 10 or older you should probably sit with them and make at least the first one to prevent errors unless you think they will be very thorough in reading the directions. These aren't hard, but the tabs sticking out can be very confusing to younger kids. 5A dragon lover's dream!My daughter loves dragons, and the Easter Bunny brought her this gem. She is only 6 so I helped her build the first dragon. The instructions were great, the hardest part was separating the pieces of tape from the backing sheet.The mountain dragon has completed countless flights over the past two days, most ending with a crash into a distant wall. With some coaching daughter learned how to straighten him and tweak his tail to avoid nosedives. He has been fought over by cousins, sat on by dad, and otherwise much loved. He is looking pretty battered, but he can still catch some air.The stories are beautifully illustrated with a flavor of non-fiction. My daughter loves them almost as much as she loves "training" her flying dragon. I can't recommend this highly enough. 5the airplanes are great but after all the work of assemblingColorful paper airplanes but definitely not to be assembled by children. All of the materials are included but the directions are quite complex to follow, even for adults. Once assembled, the airplanes are great but after all the work of assembling, most kids don't want to see any damage come to them and paper airplanes will fall apart with repeated flights. 4
