Birthday Cake TopperI got these to put on top of my son's birthday cake. They are MUCH larger than I expected, but that's a good thing because they'll be fun to play with in the sand box after his birthday. The box they arrived in was already opened and smashed, so they aren't packaged that well, but I took them out and they survived the shipping anyway, so they're pretty sturdy trucks! So, I wouldn't recommend them if you plan on giving them as a gift, only because the box might arrive smashed up and un-usable. But, other than that, they are exactly what I wanted and my son will love them for sure!Update: I'm attaching pictures of my son's birthday cake (his b-day was on Easter, so I included the Easter peeps on the dirt cake as well. hehe!). They're a little bit big for glass pan I used, but he still loved it anyway. Plus, just as I suspected, he's had a blast playing with them once we took them off the cake and cleaned them up. I even got on the ground and pushed them around and picked up stuff with the scooper truck too. They really are sturdy, fun trucks! 5For my 2yr oldI bought this for my son s Easter basket. I think they re perfect for a toddler s hands. They seem durable and I like the wheels because they can move in dirt or sand. The parts move up and down and hold their position. They seem sturdy and I will update my review once my son plays and throws them around like he likes to do. 4Great gift ideaThese sandbox trucks are very small. They look just like small John Deere vehicles though. Bought them as a gift and he really enjoyed them. I would definitely spray them off with the hose if they're going to be in the sand, the wheels can get a little sticky if too much sand gets in them. 4excellent sand toyWow, this toy set definitely exceeded my expectations! At this price point I did not hope for much. I got this as a gift for a toddler boy which meant this would soon be destroyed in the sand :) I was pleasantly surprised how well made and well packaged this product was! The plastic is very sturdy and feels solid. I don't think the little dude will get the satisfaction of destroying this thing any time soon :) The set came in a sturdy box, well packed and easy to gift-wrap. Less work for me! 5Good toys but mine arrived damaged out of the box.So the tractors themselves are great little toys. However, the toys I received were damaged. The one had white creases in the plastic where it was damaged on the tractor bed and the other one had a bent wheel bar. My 2 yr old and his cousin adore these but are still pretty hard on toys, so I won't likely won't go to the effort of returning these ones. But it was just kind of disappointing to pull them out of the box in such poor condition. 3Great, portable toys for toddlersThese are great travel toys because they aren't quite as large as a lot of other sand toy trucks. We brought them with us on an international trip and they kept our toddler occupied just fine. One of my favorite moments on the trip was watching our son sharing this toy with his friend. They both loved it! 5Bigger than I thoughtI did not look at the reviews or in the size or anything I just seen that a had 5 stars so I bought it and I usually do look into things but, I didn't. That is OK because they came bigger than I thought. I thought they would be the size of a matchbox car in they were not they were much bigger and perfect for my son for his birthday. 5One of our son s favoritesOur son loves cars, tractors and trucks so getting him tractor toy just like the real tractors he can see around here in Iowa everyday was a no brainer. John Deere tractors are made 50 minutes north of us and semis carry them by all day and trains go by with hundreds of them. He notices them and points to them. So for toy tractors for him yellow and green was it. These are cute, durable and roll nicely on oversized wheels. Big enough that they are safe for little ones but small enough for them to play with. I would recommend them to anyone who has a little tractor lover. 5Not Durable, Breaking After 2 MonthsLet me first say the toys are beautiful and they work great. We keep them out of the elements and only purchased them on June 5, 2019. It is now August 5, 2019 and the tires in the front of the dump truck have cracked and are starting to fall apart. My son has played with these toys in the sand MAYBE A TOTAL OF TEN TIMES in two months. As you can see in the pictures, the toys are nice but the tires are going to completely break soon. It's a shame since these toys are supposed to be to play in the sand but are not durable at all. It's a shame because other John Deere toys my son has have lasted quite a while. Just be aware the tires will start to crack then start breaking completely. 1Great toysThese toys are small enough to throw in a diaper bag, but big enough to keep the toddler interested around the house. My son rolls these things around the house saying Bbbbbppp Bbbbbppp Bbbbbppp for hours. Granted we taught him engine noises, but man they have earned their keep in our household! I'm sure he'll enjoy them in the sandbox someday too. Also since dad was once a John Deere owner, they hold a soft spot for me as well ;) 5
