Great cards with large pictures.Teaching the young one to play some of my favorite card games is really fun. Go fish was my all time favorite and even to this day I rather enjoy it and I am happy to say my little one likes it too.The card holders are supposed to make it easier for little hands to hold lots of cards. They do a pretty good job however a little loose so the cards can fall out when you are reaching for one.That being said it's not a deal breaker. We are having a ball with this set.The cards are each made pretty well with large pictures and easy to follow instructions. With 4 games you get hours of fun that the family will enjoy for a long time. While you are playing they are learning!Overall. Cute set of playing cards. Fun games that teach matching skills and numbers.Card holders could be better but not critical enough for me to worry. 4Cool graphics and love the holders for little hands!Got these cards to have more games so my youngest (4) and his brother (8) would have more card games. Plus they help recognize shapes, numbers and colors. The card holder is great for my younger one and helps him keep hold of large number of cards. Our favorite is crazy rights! Then Go Fish! All of the cards have great graphics. Makes for a great family night! 5Nice beginner setMy family loves to play cards and we were looking for a beginner set for our 3 and a half year old. We love these. The pictures are pretty and clear. He can easily identify all of the animals and objects depicted. The fonts on the letters and numbers are simple for him to read. I think it's really annoying when children's toys have fonts that are confusing to little learners. This is not the case here. We started by using partial decks to show him how the games worked and then increased the challenge by adding in more cards. The holders are a great help, but they are just two plastic plates under tension with a spring. I only mention this because ours have been mysteriously dismantled already and as long as you don't lose the springs, they are easy to reassemble for play. I like that everything comes in a larger box that holds the four decks and card holders. Nice to not have the separate decks and holders floating around the house. 5Great set- terrific gift ideaThis is a great card set and would make a terrific birthday gift. I have a 6 year old and a 4 year old and we have been enjoying this set. The cards are well made, and the card holders are a nice touch (although there are only 2 of them in the set)- my six year old prefers to just hold the cards in his hand, but my 4 year old puts the cards in the holder and actually sets the holder on the table standing up. There are 4 card games. "Alphabet Soup" is a memory game with 26 pairs from A/Apple to Z/Zipper. Crazy Eights is similar to Uno. There is also Go Fish and Old Maid. My kids like Old Maid best. While there are a lot of cards in the Old Maid set and the cards are durable, the pairs of the Old Maid cards are different vocations (architect, police officer, pilot, mayor) and the pictures are a little dry/serious. I remember Old Maid with silly pictures of crazy characters, which is not how this is. Very happy with my set and will consider it for a birthday/holiday gift. 5so I was super excited to get this set for my kids for ...I grew up with specialized decks of cards for the games go fish, old maid, and crazy eights, so I was super excited to get this set for my kids for their stockings. The cards are a good size, a little big for their tiny hands but they'll grow into them :). The pictures on the cards are super cute. I do wish the number 9 and the number 6 were written a bit differently to help the kids distinguish, but there are other ways to tell which is which and we'll get that figured out as well. My three year old and my six year old do enjoy using the card holders. The holders are helpful but when choosing a card a few will fall out (this would totally happen if they were just holding them, though, too). I was originally sent the wrong item from the seller but this was pretty smoothly figured out and they arrived in time for Christmas. 5Quality cardsThe cards feel pretty tough, but they printed them directional so looking at the top number doesn't work like traditional playing cards. If your 6 is upside down both top and bottom reads 9. Very difficult to keep tabs while playing even with adults. The games without numbers like old maid are great!! 3Great quality and beautiful pictures!All four sets are great quality and fantastic artwork! The card holders are a bonus! My 4, 8 and 10 year old all love playing together - there is something for everyone! Love this set! 5good for children who like card and other gamesGiven as present for child turning who likes card and other games. He was very pleased with the set. He does best with the alphabet soup (a match game) because he can remember cards and where they are, especially these with pictures for the letters of the alphabet. The others which require some strategies that he will learn and then do better. The card holders sort of help, but as with him holding them in his hands, he needs help. I'm not sure that smaller cards would help. 5Great games. We play these all the time as ...Great games. We play these all the time as a family. My four year old loves the games. Old maid is a little hard to play with three people but it's still fun. My son asks to play these all the time. The Quality Is great. They are not cheap, flimsy cards. I would buy these again. 5great set of cards!love this set. good buy- all four games and the card holders for a great price. cards are regular card size. not thick, not thin, just like a regular deck of cards. we like the card holders but hard to use when you get tons of cards, like you can do in these games, and I will have to fan the cards out for my 7 year old. I like that they all fit nicely into this one box. sometimes one lone deck of cards can disappear in my home. cute set, with cute illustrations. my daughter loves all the games. 5
