    Highly recommend!This truck is so cool! All the sounds and lights are neat. The ramp makes noises when its pulled out and pushed back in. Sturdy. My 3yr.has been playing with it for a few mths and it is holding up wonderfully. Highly recommended. 5Newest fleet additionFifth visit to the Hess line for this grandfather, with as good a result as the first, second, third, and fourth. I have yet to order a vehicle that did not match the description in Amazon's online display, including both new and used models -- commendable both for the online store and its suppliers. Given that this is a Hess truck, I have faith that it will survive the crash! boom! bam! that awaits -- the others have weathered their years splendidly. 5It's a very fun toy and he loved itThis was the hit of my son's third birthday party. It's a very fun toy and he loved it. Unfortunately he got some sand in it and later it got wet and now the lights and sounds don't work. He still plays with it all the time, but it's kind of sad. It's definitely not an outside toy! Also the small bulldozer runs through batteries really quickly. Overall, it was worth the money since my son adores it. 4Always a nice christmas giftThis 2013 Hess Truck set is pretty durable (after a couple of weeks with a 1 and 2.5 year old 'playing' with it). The Truck itself is nice, although a tad bit loud when our 1 year old plays the same sound over and over again. It's made of very durable plastic and the tires are grippy, but sturdy (won't come off easily). The tractor is also nice, it has a switch to make it go forward and backward. My only complaint is that is doesn't have any kid of safety built in to auto shutoff after a short period of time or when it hits an obstacle. THe tractor has a 2nd switch to turn on and off the lights. The truck has 3 buttons, each for different sound/lights. As an added bonus, when the ramp is pulled out from the truck, it makes a very lifelike sound of a carhauler's/wrecker's ramp coming out/down, then back in again. It has a nice closing sound, as well. Very nice product, very little to complain about it. 5Hess TrucksThe look on my grandson's face said it all. He wanted a Hess truck for Christmas and he loved this one. A well built sturdy truck that a 3 year old can play with and abuse. It was actually two trucks in one with the small bulldozer that came with it. It was a very good toy for the price with working lights. It should give him a few years of fun. It wasn't made of metal like many of the original Hess trucks from years ago, but for a 3 year old that might be a good thing, and probably won't become a treasured collector's item like some of the first trucks are. 52013 Hess Toy Truck and Tractor is the best toy I've seen in a long time!I heard other grandmothers raving about being the first to get the newest Hess toy for their grandchildren so I ordered the toy truck and tractor for my five-year-old grandson for his birthday. It is sturdy, has lots of bells and whistles, and is a winner. 5My Grandson Loves it!This was a huge hit on Christmas day!!! It is a totally cool truck! When my grandson opened it he was thrilled. It is now May and just last weekend I went to visit the kids and he pulled out this truck. A lot of toys end up in the toy box and are forgotten, but he really enjoys this 5 months later. The tractor moves up onto the truck on its own. There are lots of lights and sounds which is a big plus for my grandson. I will definitely look for another Hess truck next Christmas. He broke off the ramp but the sound features still work when he puts the ramp in and out. The rubber on the wheels come off but easily go back on. Even the bulldozer piece snaps back on easily when pulled off. A lot of nice features with the sounds and the lights. Tons of detail and huge bang for your buck compared to other toys in this price range. 5Great TruckI worked for Hess for 20 years and purchased these truck through Hess. Since retired, I was looking for them because my grandchildren love these trucks. They are worth the money because they do so much; lights, sirens, moving parts and they can take a beating. I was so pleased to see Amazon sells them. Thank you Amazon. 5Hess best kind of truck on the marketBest kind of truck on the market to buy! I nanny for two boys age 3 and 6 and one just had a birthday. Huge hit. Well built kids can't get to the battery's so they actually stay inside of the trucks and everything has an on and off switch so things aren't constantly running. Lights are bright! Wonderful buy and built to last just how I remember them as a kid 5
