awesome quality, and super cute kitesI was invited to a 4 year old's birthday party, and I always hate bringing a present for only the birthday kid when they have sisters and/or brothers, so I saw this and thought it would be a perfect "group gift" for the other kids. The quality for this price is unbelievable, I was really shocked at how nice these are. The kids LOVED them, they immediately took them out to choose which one they each wanted... and they each have their own pouch to store them in. Not only did the kids love them, but a few parents asked where I purchased them because they loved them too, and wanted to get them for their kids. These kites were a HUGE hit at a party with about 15 kids between the ages of 4 - 12... I highly recommend them! 5Best ever!!!!!!!!I have never had success with kites in my lifetime, but I read the reviews and bought these anyway with a little hope that they would work on the beach. These are the easiest kites to fly ever! I wasn't even trying and it was airborne! We had so much fun and I would recommend these 100%. Perfect for kids and SO easy to fly. I love EVERYTHING about them! 5Best kites ever Best kites ever!! Went to the beach with my grandkids ages 2, 4, and 8. I am 70!! I have never been successful at putting kites together much less flying them. My daughter in law attached the string that comes with the kite and it virtually flew itself! Even the 2 year old was able to hold on and fly it. When they lost interest I tied it to a stake on my blanket and it flew by itself all afternoon! You do not need to buy any additional string, spools or anything. Everything you need is included. You just need a good windy day:) 5great kites, cheap string, no clipsThe kites themselves are great, you get 3 big kites for a good price and each comes with a cheap thing of string. These are nylon "pocket style" kites which do not require any kite sticks, so they are great for travel and young kids, and they always fly even in the slightest wind. However, what would really complete this deal would be if they included higher quality string and clips for the strings. Each kite has it's own nylon bag, when you pull the kite out of it's bag, there is a mess of strings which can easily tangle. So if you have little kids you may want to get the strings organised and tied correctly for them. Since there are no clips included, you will have to tie a knot to connect the strings. I suggest ordering high a quality spool of kite string that comes with a clip so you can easily attach all the strings. Happy kite flying!! 4Fantastic KitesMy son had his Bar Mitzvah on Governor's Island, in New York City and we handed out 38 kites, may of them to kids who had never flown one. Once they realized that it worked best for one kid to hold the kite open while the other let out some string, the kites made it up in the air and looked great! Tourists kept coming by trying to buy one.We did have a few crash and tangle, but given the inexperienced flyers, these for the most part these flew and flew well.I absolutely recommend them. THey are cloth. Did not tear and came with enough line to make a nice showing. 5Great deal. These kites arrived and looked just like the picture. I ordered the 3 pack, it came with a red, blue and green kite. Each kite came with it's own bag in which to store it. The kites are high quality and the string is thicker than other kite string. We flew the kites on a pretty windy day. The kites did great and they would have gone higher if we had more string, which would be my only suggestion (buy another string to hook onto the end of the string that comes with it.) The kites had a pretty good pull. My 6 year old was afraid it was going to fly away with her. But my 6,7 and 9 year old were all able to fly the kites without much help. I would buy this again. 5Great beginner kitesAwesome kites. Needed more wind, but we had fun. Had to look up on YouTube how to tie the line, but there are directions with diagrams.The line was better than expected. The only thing we noticed is that after a few hours of the kites twisting during flying that the line also twisted and put too much tension on one of the three guidelines on the kites. It seems this would happen with any multi line kite.I bought another that is a bit nicer, but for a cheap afternoon with friends this was unbeatable for the price 5Does not flyThese did not work at all!! Brought these to the beach. Taking them out it was a cool looking design. No matter what we did these kites would go up and dart right back down hard to the ground. Over 45 minutes trying to get these 3 kites in the air we gave up and threw them away. We purchased other designs on amazon including a larger Snake kite with 20' tail. The big snake kite stayed up high in the sky for over an hour. Took off super fast without problems. These kites were sewn wrong and just did not make scense. Very disappointed!!! 1Great for a steady breezeTried to fly when we first arrived at the beach but the winds were 25 mph or more so it did not do well. When the winds died down to around 10 mph it flew great. It works best if you are able to hold the parafoil open to help the air fill in. I really enjoyed it once the wind died down! 5Got up super easy though with lots of windCute 3 pak - Flew immediately ! However., when no wind and trying to run it just folds up on itself. Got up super easy though with lots of wind !The minute I hit a pocket of no wind it would start to dive down - After it crashing a few times the string got toooo twisty on itself and made it more difficult to fly - so would have to cut the string and unwind/ untwist to start over as it is almost impossible to untwist with kite attached . The other mollusk guy flew great too, and when I managed to land him in the water and pull him out , It STILL got back up even when wet ! I hadn't been kite flying in 7 years and this definitely made me want to Do it again soon and try different types of kites now. 5
