If you plan on keeping it stationary and your kids are gentle on their toys, maybe. I bought it for my 5 year old to keep track of his coins, so he can start learning about money. He easily is able to put money inside. To get the money out all you have to do is take the world off the stand then shake. We also are able to put in bills by folding them up and reaching fingers inside the hole in the bottom to get them out. 5Great buyI bought this for my 9 year old niece. She had admired a antique small globe bank in my parent's house. So, finding this on Amazon was perfect. The quality seems pretty good, getting the coins out seems like it might be a bit inconvenient, but not excessively so.
