    Great product for the moneyI am so happy that I bought this for our toddler. She absolutely loves it. The wood is very nice and the pictures are great. One side has the letters - the other side has a picture representing the letter. Below the alphabet are numbers. This toy makes for a great gift. 5Great educational learning tool ~ Very well made ~ You can't go wrong buying this for a childI purchased this for our 2 year old grandson, as he's fascinated with numbers and the alphabet. As soon as we gave it to him, he started using it. He loves spinning the tiles, and matching the letters and pictures. This is one of those learning toys that keeps a young child interested for a long period of time. It's very helpful in teaching a child the letters of the alphabet, as the corresponding pictures reinforce the learning process.Although it makes no difference to a child, I like the fact that this item is self contained. I've purchased so many toys and learning tools that come with dozens, or hundreds of parts. While great in their own regard, it's very difficult not to lose key pieces, or to find them scattered all over the house. With this item, everything stays in one place, making cleaning up a non factor.This alphabet abacus is well made and designed to last. You can't go wrong with this excellent product. 5bright colors, solid construction, educational - and keeps things neat, too.I can't think of a time that we've been disappointed with a Hape toy, and this one is no exception. The colors are bright, the construction is solid, and our little guy (about 2 years old now) loves to spin the tiles.Of course, we like the educational value, too. There are a lot of alphabet toys out there, but what we love most about this one is that it's all contained--no blocks and items scattered around the house. It's pretty transportable too, from room to room, and we've even traveled with it.A good way to work on ABCs and have fun at the same time--and keep things fairly neat in the process. That's rare! 57 month old loves spinning it!My baby loves spinning things so thought this was a great toy for her. She's only 7 months but it'll last a long time and it'll be more useful as she gets older so she can learn her ABC's 5Backwards letters - beware!I loved the concept of this and bought it as a gift for my best friend's one year old. He LOVES it, but sadly, a few weeks after I gave it to them they noticed the letter E was backwards. That pretty much sucks. It's been more than 30 days, so I can't return. Wish we had noticed right away. 3A great learning toy with alphabet and numbers, just make sure your little one doesn't bump into it!This is a nice wooden learning toy that can help supplement all the ways you're teaching your little one(s).Not only does it have the alphabet and illustrations, but it has the numbers from 1-10 along with their spelled out words.It's a great toy that helps little ones learn letters, numbers, and is a great tactile experience.The only knock is that it's wood and it can fall onto or they can fall onto it. So just be careful! 4Paint scraps offNot good if your child still puts things in there mouth. I can scratch bits of paint off with my soft fingernails. My baby teeth scraped the paint right off exposing bare wood. I m really upset. The paint is probably not very safe to ingest. 1Great way for children to recognize the alphabet.I know this says for 3+ but it's great for younger children too! My two year old grandson loves it. It's well made. The letters are large and well written. When you flip it there's an example for the letter. Ex: letter A an Apple. There are numbers 1-10 also. It's not very large in fact it's rather small and I like that. It won't take up a large amount of room. My grandson enjoys it so that's all that matters to me. 5... Other than that my 2 & 3 yr olds love it!Small (but description does give size so I was not surprised by size) Other than that my 2 & 3 yr olds love it! 5Great quality, excellent and educational fun!I bought this for my son when he was 18 months old (he s now just 5) and it really started a strong interest in the alphabet for him. By two years old, he knew every letter, and now at just barely five years old, he s very interested in how different words are spelled, and even reading some, too. This particular abacus is great quality, and over 3 years later is still in excellent condition. 5
