    Christmas Gift for a Unicorn Lover!!!I cannot comment on this game yet since I purchased it for my niece for Christmas. Hopefully, she will like it. I thought it was a simple, cute game. I like the idea of the jewels. It makes the unicorns magical! 5Fun, simple game for kids, well-madeMy kids all get a new game every Christmas and my 6-year old loves Unicorns and I love Haba, so I saw this and bought it right away. The object of the game is to go along the clouds, collecting as many jewels as you can. The unicorn with the most jewels at the end of the game wins. Simple concept...my 4- and 6-year old girls love it, and even my 8-year old son will play it.There are 4 different colors of unicorns...pink, a golden yellow, purple, and a pretty turquoise, all made from wood and are nice and thick, as you would expect from Haba wood. The jewels are a heavier plastic and oddly shaped, so they don't roll, which is nice. It comes with two chunky dice, one blue one with clouds, and one pink one with jewels. The board is a really thick cardboard, like a Melissa and Doug giant puzzle. It comes in three pieces that fit together like a puzzle...one side is the game board and the other side is used to line up your jewels at the end to see who wins.You will roll the cloud die and get a cupcake/muffin, which is a nice way of saying you lose a turn, or you will move 1, 2, or 3 spaces. If you land on an empty cloud, you do nothing. If you land on a cloud at the end of a rainbow, you get to slide over the rainbow. If you land on a gift you give a jewel to another player. And if you land on a cloud with a jewel, you will roll the pink jewel die and collect that many jewels (3 ones, 2 twos, and 1 three).First player to make it to the end gets a bonus of 4 extra jewels and then you wait for the other players to finish.Once everyone has finished you will flip the board over and line up your jewels next to your unicorn. This is a nice touch, as it gives younger kids a nice visual to see who won (who has the longest row of jewels) plus it's more fun that just counting them. :)Overall a very nice little game. I think it will last a long time and my girls will get lots of use out of it. It's nice and quick...is played in about 10 minutes or so, so that's a nice option for shorter attention spans and younger children. My only complaint is the game board is really small and it gets VERY crowded, so I took off a star. You can barely fit one unicorn per cloud, much less 3 or 4 if you have that many players. While I appreciate it that it makes for a more compact game, it makes it really hard when you're playing. I would still buy it again or give it as a gift, though. :) 4Perfect game for little girls!Bought this game to play with my grandchildren. My granddaughter loves unicorns. The game is really cute and perfect for little kids. They love collecting the crystals. Also, when the game is over you can put the crystals on the other side of the board in lines and it helps them practice counting. They really like it and we have fun playing it. 5Fun game and easy to learn.Purchased for my 3yr old. Great game! I played an old version which inspired this purchase. Only difference is the pink rocks are smaller than the older version I played, but still nice. 5Best starter game for kids simple and quick.If your looking for a starter game for kids this is it. Simple set up simple play threw and easy clean up. My daughter 4.5 isn't big in games like her older brother but she got this for Christmas 2 weeks ago and has played it almost everyday multiple times a day. If you have 15 minutes you have plenty of time to set up play and clean up this game. You basically move little pony's along a linear track and collect crystals.Difficulty was perfect for my 4 year old, and we will without a doubt play again. I think it fits that purpose. 4Sweet and simpleI got this for my 4yr who enjoys board games. The pieces are all normal Haba quality which is excellent. The wooden pieces are nice and chunky and brightly colored and the gems are super cute. The game is very simple and almost completely based on luck but that is ok because it only lasts about 10 minutes.Basically you roll the dice to move and collect gems. Who ever has the most gems at the end wins. The back of the board lets you place your gem pieces on a track so even little kids that can't count yet can tell who has the most. 5five starsThis is a cute little game. The wooden unicorn playing pieces are cute and sturdy. The crystals are also bigger than expected which is nice. At the end when players have to count all their crystals, you can flip the game board over and there is a row of clouds for each unicorn where kids can place their crystals. The row with the longest line of crystals shows the winner. My 2.5 year old daughter loves the unicorn pieces and likes to play, with help. My 5 year old son also asks to play this game with his sister. The only negative is that I wish the game board was a little bigger/wider. When playing with 3 or 4 players, the unicorn pieces are too bunched together. 5Recommended highlyI bought this as a birthday gift for my niece for her 5th birthday- we're trying to encourage her to spend less time on her tablet. And she absolutely adores this game. She drives our mom crazy because she wants to play it all the time! It was very easy for her to learn to play. 5Quick to learn and play, great game for young onesEasy to pick up and play. Games are very quick and fun for little ones. It has a "help your friends" mechanic which is also nice for kids under 6, though the game might not be exciting enough for older kids.The color and look of the crystals you collect is very appealing; they definitely were a hit with my 4-year old daughter. 5
