    Beautiful, cuddly and soft!LOVE this teddy bear! I was a little disappointed when I first received it because the color was much lighter than the image shown with the product description and I was going to send it back. But then I just couldn't part with it :D It is SO soft and cuddly and really quite a lovely teddy bear! I highly recommend it! I just wish it were a little darker so it looked like the one they are advertising. I am attaching an image that I found on the web that shows more accurately how the color looks....it is still really pretty in this lighter color!5How do I get the one I ordered and paid for??I ordered the new 24 inch Maxie. I received the 18 inch. The 24 " is meant for a 5 year-old. It's nice and soft and squeezable, but I want the 24 " Gund is a well-known reputable brand, and I have always been happy with their products. I'm sure this was just an honest mistake in packaging, and I really hope this problem can be rectified in time for Christmas. I know my granddaughter would just love it.1LOVE at first sight!I spent weeks trying to select just the right teddy bear for the inner child healing work I'm doing. No joke, it was truly a painful process (despite feeling silly about it all)! Finally, it was between this Gund bear (24") and a couple of Vermont teddy bears. But the expression on the Vermont bears just didn't seem as alive. And, in the end, there was a lovely review by a 70 year old woman that finally convinced me (I'm now 65). Still, because there are always dissatisfied customers, and I'd read all the review, I wasn't at all sure how I'd feel.The bear came yesterday. As soon as I took him out of the box, I loved the sweet expression on his face. And when I took him out of the plastic wrapping, my heart completely melted.He's SO SOFT and cuddly. The stuffing is in just the right places to make this an incredibly huggable teddy bear. I'm astonished at how perfect this little guy is for healing work. My husband couldn't believe I did this, but even he gave it a squeeze or two and now thinks it's adorable.I really agree with reviewers who say this is the right size for an adult. It might be unwieldy for a small child, but could still be a great snuggle pillow.Gorgeous light golden brown, a bit lighter than the photo on Amazon. Kind of the color of a graham cracker.I wholeheartedly suggest this teddy bear as a gift for anyone who needs cheering up or any child. I bet it will be a favorite and beloved toy for years to come.5A perfect bear.At 70 years old, I hadn't considered I'd been ordering a stuff animal for myself, but life throws curve balls. My husband of 38 years is dealing with two cancers, and I'm dealing with caring for him and imaging life without him: neither is calming. I decided I wanted something huggable, and wound up with this bear, which hubby has named Pooh. I'd read the reviews and they're so right: he's very huggable, very soft, and very sweet: truly what a perfect bear should be.UPDATE: Hubby took Pooh for himself. I had to order another for me (she's named Winnie). So now we have two.5Great stress relieverPurchased for a young adult friend having life issues. Told him I got a stress reliever to help with his issues. He opened the box pulled out Maxie gave it hug and his whole demeanor changed. He was amazed that the bear suddenly absorbed all his stress. He sat there astonished and speechless, so he hugged it again. We all need reassuring hugs for those hard spots in life and Maxie is just the bear to get the job done. Excellent product and I would HIGHLY recommend these bears for durable hug-ability. Gotta take care of that inner child we all have.5He helps with my anxietyI absolutely LOVE this bear. When I am on the verge of a panic attack I can reach for him or if he's not physically with me, then I can just think of him, and I'm able to slow my breathing down to where I can better handle attack. He's soft, and floppy (but not too floppy). He's the perfect size. His fur are those fuzzy swirly things that adds to his charm. Seriously, this bear is simply the best! I might buy a 2nd one just in case they stop making him.5Great gift for myselfAs fluffy as I expected. I love it so much! I brought it for myself. And it is really cute! I added a picture, don't hesitate, buy it!5Never to old for a teddy.Perfect bedtime pal for this old lady 5Very beautiful and cuddly bearFirst I want to say that the color of this bear is beautiful. Please see the 18 Maxxie bear to see the actual color you will receive. Second, the bear is adorable and very cuddly. Her fur is very soft and plush. I bought this bear to sleep with for orthopedic reasons. I am a side sleeper and Maxine is very helpful so that I don t wake up in so much pain, plus its just nice to have a friend to cuddle. If you want to put some clothes on your bear for fun, whether adult or child, Maxxie wears 3-6 mos old baby clothes. Lastly while I absolutely give this bear five stars there are some things to be mentioned. My bear did have a bit of a chemical new bear smell. Most people probably would not notice this but I am chemically sensitive so Maxine is having to air out for a couple of days. You cannot see the mouth on my bear as pictured, she is still cute and I could cut away some of the excess fur, but it just shows some of the lack of detail, as do the lack of consistent detail on her front paws. However she is NOT a cheaply made bear by any means. Her fur is quality and does not shed and she is well stuffed. I happily recommend this bear.5Super adorable, but doesn't seem like it's a quality made teddy. :(I really wanted to give a five star review because of how cute it is, but the bear just doesn't seem to be made to hold up through years of being played with like Gund bears used to be. The fabric is thin and cheap feeling, and the arms and legs and head look/feel like they will probably rip at the seams after a while. And although the bear is light enough for a small child to carry around, it isn't stuffed very densely, which means that after a little bit of love it will probably end up being pretty floppy/lumpy. This was a gift from my mom for her eight month old grandson, and was supposed to be his "special teddy bear" but we're both worried it won't last him long. :( The reason we gave it such a good review is because the bear is incredibly adorable and really soft, and has such a sweet face that you can't help but love! The large size is really neat, and it would make a great gift even for an adult. Just don't expect the quality that you had if you had a Gund teddy bear while growing up.4
