    She Aint No Bismarck!She aint no Bismark but for the money it's not a bad little ship, for the money that is. I charged the battery for the first time and everything went well, when I went to charge it for the second time the charging light did not come on. I thought the charger failed. I went ahead and left it plugged in for 5 hours and it did end up charging the battery. I also had to seal the seams because she took on water. I wish it had only one prop and a rudder instead of using two props to turn the vessel. It does have some speed that is more suited for a PT boat rather than a battleship. All in all I had a good time running it on my pond. 4Great little shipGreat little ship. Add your own paint and seal up all the seems with bees wax or mink oil water repellent for leather. I will be placing another order with this seller soon. 5Works great in my poolNo water leak. Works great in my pool. Can make charp turns. Speed is more than I expected for its size. Looks great in water 5Great little boat, construction is a little cheapI bought this R/C boat to play with on the pond behind my work. Its worked great out of the box and I've had a lot of fun with it.PROS-Long battery life (~20 minutes)-Built in drain plugs-Long range (goes farther than I can see it without going out of range)-Easy to use (only two sticks on the controller. Forward/back on the left propeller and forward/back on the right propeller)-Looks cool (not necessarily realistic, but cool)CONS-It leaks, I can't tell where from.-It leans to the right. Kind of annoying but not a huge deal.-It's not too sturdy. Ive broken some pieces off by bumping it into rocks even though I wasn't going that fast.SUMMARYI quite enjoy this and I think it would make a great gift for a kid or a beginner. It's a little cheap in terms of its construction but has other redeeming qualities. 4a great ship!i have had mine 4 years .. 4 seasons of fun! as a experienced r/c modeler.. let me share a few things.. this as it is a pretty STATIC model. but gang.. it runs1 and runs good.. i have the destroyer /smasher too, so include my commentary for both.. Bismark, is the fast es of the two.. hull is sleek.. has less drain holes than smasher. beautiful model, get some paints, to make it perfect.. the remote..cheesy, but works, alwAYS HAVE A FRESH 9V IN THE BOX.. SHE SCOOTS ACROSS THE WATER..50 knots in scale! nice forward and reverse.. plus one forward, other reverser, turns on a dime.. i have sealed mine up on the deck line, to keep every drop out.. battery box is good.. watertite.. so stately, at my park..all the kids loved it.. and i could share turns with all them .. much to mom's and dad's ' your a nice man' well not with my race boats.. just love looking at , handles. water well.. just seal that deck line up, and drain after every use.. we made a movie using airsoft guns.. did straddles.. with music.. wow beliveable.. a great toy for young..and old boys,, keep her dry, charge battery. smart charger.. and paint her up some.. and go look for the 'HOOD" take your grandson out, with a history lesson! 4Sent us damaged and clearly used item TWICEI would NOT recommend this seller. It is sad because the boat is very cool and good size for the price and it came quickly but we received a damaged item the first time, returned it and received another damaged and obviously used item the second time! Scratches all over the item, remote had clearly been dropped, the battery wouldn't hold a charge. I would pick a zero star rating if I could. 1Instant favoriteThis was an instant favorite for my 7 yr old. His favorite gift this Christmas, among many other more expensive/exotic gifts. We have a pool, and he has been running this around non-stop. It goes really fast for an inexpensive remote controlled boat. Very good model detail. What I think is really cool is it has 2 independently controlled screws (propellers). This is how you steer the boat (no rudder). One minor thing that is lacking is to have a light indicator on the charger to know when the battery pack is fully charged. 5Sad Christmas morningIt looks great, but that s all the enjoyment we get to have currently as ours arrived with a European electric plug and not an American plug. We had a very disappointed little boy Christmas morning. Thankfully, I was able to order a 7.2V charger for use in American outlets on Amazon for a very reasonable price and I hope to have the boat in the water by the weekend. My son has had his eyes on this toy for months and has talked about very little else in the meantime. I feel so bad for him that the one thing he wanted for Christmas turned out to be a flop. 1I cannot belive what I saw. a MESS..BROKEN... CHARGER MISSING,,, ANTENNA IS missing... a MESS!!!!! 1My son loved it and it worked!14 year old son was very careful with the barrels. Charged the battery over night and went for a cruise. Inspected the hull and it was watertight. Props are plastic so we choose a city lake that was clear of debries and waist deep at the shallowest end. Water line pained is the true water line. Looked great in the water!Operated it for 15 min and quit while we were ahead. Ducks tolerated it untill we were within 50 . Range was incredible! At lease 100 yards. could only tell by the wake what direction it was going. Gray paint turns out to be good cammo on water. Every maneuver was performed except for running aground with ease.Handling- single speed forward and back on each prop. Turns are made with differential thrust, very effective. Tracks true, wind had little effect. Faster than expected. Factory ballast was perfect and the boat handled its own waves just fine. Do not recommend in choppy water or heavy wind. Mist and very light rain may be ok. It s a boat, there s going to be moisture, open vents and use a fan to extend life expectancy.If care is taken, gray plugs can be removed to expose screws that attach the deck to the hull. Then, it was possible to remove these screws and lift the deck from the hull. There is a second sealed area the makes the inner hull area splash resistant. I am treating my motors with corrosion-x to make them moisture resistant.This is a solid platform and propulsion system, worthy of upgrades. 3d printed deck, lights, better r/c controls for slower scale speeds, even fpv pixhawk rover. 5
