Customer Reviews

happy with the purchaseAs with most the FUNKO I've purchased, he's not too keen on standing on his own. Tends to lean and fall over unless he's next to a wall or something else on the surface. Can kind of bend his legs to stand up for a while but has fallen down every time I've tried. Otherwise, happy with the purchase. Wubba lubba dub dub!! 4Smudgey RickAs many, many others have stated, Rick came with some extra paint on him. This is basically like a factory reject, and for the price, not worth it. If I had taken it out of the box, i hope that I could get the smear off, but I keep my POPs in their original box for display purposes. This will sadly have to be returned. I will have to hunt them down at newbery comics. 2The quality is pretty bad. The item is fresh out of the ...I was under the impression that these "Pop!" items were collectibles, at least that's the way they seem to be advertised. This is the first one I have ever bought. The quality is pretty bad. The item is fresh out of the box and shows obvious signs of poor quality. Paint is chipped and smeared on several spots. The left eye paint is smeared. There is a gray spot of paint on the front of the shirt. I could have painted this better myself. The glue was applied poorly to the head. Lots of defects. The item was rather dirty too for some reason. I won't be buying another "Pop!" item again. These are anything but collectible. 2Won't stand up. Here's one method for making a custom figure baseLove the design - but like other reviewers have said, won't stay upright. Unlike the Funko Pop figures of female characters - which all have spindly little legs and need a stand + base - Funko Pop figures of male characters usually stand unaided. Rick's an exception. For an in-universe excuse, you could say he's been hitting the sauce too hard, but it's still disappointing.Tip for making your own base: use Milliput or Apoxie Scuplt to make a flat, thick circle. Jam the figure's feet into it. Leave it to harden/cure, checking every so often that the figure isn't listing. I've done this for a couple of Funko Pop figures. It works well and doesn't look bad provided you paint the base once it's fully cured. 3What is my purpose?Rick Sanchez is my spirit animal. This allows me to have a tiny Rick at my beck and call whenever I want him.The blue fairy has as of yet not answered my starlight wishes of turning tiny Rick into a real conscious entity. All he does now is pass butter. 5He stands up perfectly. It's enough to say that Rick is the most intelligent mammal in the galaxy. This is confirmed by many sources. Simply miniaturizing him and placing him on your desk is a no-brainer. He's taken me on at least 20 adventures already, but none of them have involved any super fruit, or the seeds that come with them. 5I love him!"Listen Morty, I hate to break it to you, but what people call "love" is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard, Morty, then it slowly fades, leaving you stranded in a failing marriage." That being said, I love little Rick, and not in a failing marriage sort of way, but an everlasting for all eternity bury me with the little b*****d kind of way. 5A Christmas present for my nephew: Part IIA Christmas present for my nephew. He just loves Rick & Morty. (I've seen a bit of the show and it looks pretty cool). Arrived promptly and in perfect shape. Some people said they don't stand up very well. Try fun tack on their feet.-------------------PEACE 5good addition to my collectionI love this little guy. The only problem I am having is sometimes he goes missing. I have a feeling he s going on adventures with his grandson probably to different dimensions and getting the world and different timelines into all sorts of trouble and causing non stop chaos (or my desk mates are jerks). 5He was like a kid in a candy storeGave this to my fiance for Valentine's yesterday. He was like a kid in a candy store! He was so excited mainly because it's 1) drunk Rick and 2) he can finally start a Rick and Morty shelf. Haven't taken him out of the package, but the molding is perfect, no scratches, complete color/paint job, and the colors are accurate to the photo. 5
