Customer Reviews

Great contollerAbsolutely wonderful controler for the price. It weights near the same as the Taranis and just as solid for a quarter of the price. There are less buttons and switches but I use mine for racing/acro quadcopters so they aren't necessary. I recommend this controller if on a budget or worried about spending 250 on a controller. 5Even holding it next to a Taranis you really feel pretty good about itIt's cheap. It works really well. It comes with a 6 channel receiver. It has a lot of the options more expensive models have but they can be a little confusing to set up. Even holding it next to a Taranis you really feel pretty good about it. 5Full-featured radio for a stealI know there are spectrum fanboys that will hate on this, but I really really like this radio. Not too terribly long ago, 6ch radio systems were hundreds of dollars. Now, at a fraction of the price, one can equip an RC plane with bomb drops, flaps, gimballed cameras, or really anything else you want.Bonus, from my research the firmware can be flashed to enable 10ch functionality. The physical controls for up to 10ch exist, but require that you map your Auxillary controls (two channels) to whichever you prefer.Programming this radio for various airframes is pretty easy. Probably the trickiest one I've set up so far was my flying wing. The mix settings to accomplish flaperons on a flying wing are not straightforward... but that's because flaperons on a flying wing aren't exactly straightforward... so not any fault of the radio's 5Great transmitter, but eat's AA batteriesGreat inexpensive (as compaired to cost of transmitters of the 70'-80's) transmitter. Only drawback, burns through AA batteries at an alarming rate (2-3 flights, time to change batteries) Looking into possibility of getting small (motorcycle/lawnmower) battery and running through charging port. 5solid unit to start with or as a testing/ backup TX5 stars based on price per performance. I have had this unit for 5 years. never lost a plane and i have taken them to 1000ft and 1/2 mile range(pre FPV). if you are having range issues , check attenna connection inside for solder joint issues. the PWM protocal maybe outdated but it works and the reciever s are inexpensive. plenty of mixing options and ez to program. its also fun to 'mod' and experiment with. i bought an FS-i10 now but still use this T6 for rallys and general flight testing. Great fixed wing TX 5Economical, works greatUsed this in a land-based RC project paired with a Sabertooth Dual 25A motor controller. Works as intended. 5I really wanted to like it, but I have been getting almost no ...I really wanted to like it, but I have been getting almost no range out of it. I understand how different types of antennas work and I was getting not more than 200 ft on a good day in perfect conditions. I ended up buying a 12v lithium battery to externally power this thing because it drains AAs like crazy. its possible that I got a bad egg but either way it is really disappointing. also all the switches are 2 way. not a single three way for some reason. 2There is no way this is a new product because ...There is no way this is a new product because there were no damage to either of the two boxes it was packed inside or the molded plastic that was inside of the two boxes yet the screen has an impact Mark and if that was an on off the battery hatch keeps falling off in your hands 1Great transmitter, great price, suprisingly well built. Reliable as a futabaI bought this receiver and transmitter to try and to compare with the higher brands because I have it's little brother the flysky FS-I6. It looked cheap but it worked great in a rtf eachine falcon 250. As soon as I got it in the mail I started a quadcopter build. I went all in getting the best of the best with ceramic ball bearing racing motors, full naze 32 rev6 flight controller, 30amp one shot esc's, voodoo 280 frame, day and night vision adjustable 600-800 vtl Fpv camera. 1000mw Fpv transmitter. When it came time to Install the receiver I noticed that it came pre-bound to the transmitter which was nice and saved time. It came with new control wires too. I then powered up the remote and quad with PROPELLERS OFF and went thru the vehicle setup wizard in librepilot . After programming and a few short hovers and low altitude range tests I was amazed how well and connected I felt to the machine. So I throw on the V3's for some Fpv. After a few slow laps building confidence in the controls I immeadatly grabbed a 2200 4S and pushed it as hard and fast as I could around my track amazed at how connected and dialed in this transmitter felt . All the while thinking this feels like my futaba or my tyrannis and for under 60 bucks . I have a custom ground control unit and a 1 watt Fpv transmitter with a full osd and black box fitted and I could still out range my Fpv, that was at 1.1 kilometers line of sight. Again for under 60 bucks. Let me be clear it feels good in your hand and I have NEVER had it lose signal once. I race for a hobby and work on them for a living and for the money you will not find such a nice, reliable well built transmitter you can feel good about holding in your hands. NOTE this radio does not have a standard 3 position flight mode switch if you want to switch flight modes it will program 3 positions with one of the round dials on top and for me it works fine. Happy FlyingTeam rearview 5Low Build Quality. Excellent Software. This is my first "real" transmitter. It feels a little bit cheaply made, but a lot of research showed that the software is top notch. I'm running fairly low end Volantex models so this transmitter will be more than enough for the next few years if it lasts that long. It binds right up to Flysky recievers, but it took me a little bit to realize it because it doesn't indicate on the screen that it's in bind mode. Seems to work well so far. For 45 bucks...you really can't beat this. 5
