    Just okThis book doesn't have as many dedicated places to use the dotters as the others do. My son was disappointed and ended up coloring the pages instead, which made this a very expensive coloring book. 2Nice books with great pictures for young kidsI bought the Trucks and Dinosaurs Books, the Trucks book has many many more pages than the Dinosaurs, and I'm giving it to 2 grandsons in the same family so it might be a problem........... The books do not have dots on the pages, could be considered just a coloring book. The pages are thick so the Dot Markers will not bleed thru. 4Great giftWe bought this for a Christmas gift for my niece, so I can't say if it's a hit or not, but it looks like a good product.I bought this, some dots markers and glitter crayons and it makes a wonderful little gift set for an artistic kid.The book is good quality, with thick paper so the markers won't drip through easily. Pictures have wide spaces, which is really important because of the width of the stamping markers. 5I m not happy with these booksI m not happy with these books, because as others have said there isn t a lot of DOT art and seems more like a regular coloring page. For the price I was highly disappointed with the product and I can t even return it because the cost of sending it back would eat up any refund expected. What an absolute WASTE. 2Great books for coloring, painting and dot artMy kids are 7 and 4 and they love these dot art books!!! Glad I found them on amazon because our local craft store no longer carries them. 5Very nice coloring bookThis is a great coloring book to use with the Do-A-Dot paints or with markers or crayons. The pages are nice and thick, so it works well with paints. The pages are perforated and tear out nicely. Some of the pictures incorporate dots that are the same size as the Do-A-Dot paints, but it's really not very specific to those paints and can be considered to be a general coloring book made with thicker-than-usual paper.There are about 15 pages with pictures of single dinosaurs drawn clearly with thick black lines and the name of the dinosaur printed at the bottom of the picture. These pictures are larger and simpler than the illustration on the cover of the book, so it's very well-suited to toddlers and pre-schoolers who aren't ready for more detailed coloring books yet. There are a few empty landscape pictures at the end and several pages of smaller dinosaurs that you can cut out and use to decorate the landscapes. My son is young, so we just stick with the big dinosaurs for now. I think the pages would xerox really well because of the quality of the paper and the style of the drawings, so you could easily get much more use out of the book.My 2 1/2-year-old son loves dinosaurs and really enjoys his Do-A-Dot paints, so this is a great activity for us. We also have the truck one, which he loves, too. 5Hardly a do a dot bookNot what I was expecting. This book doesn't seem catered to dot art markers. 2Pricey but worth it.My friends, who also happen to be grandparents, are somewhat taken back by the cost of these books. They keep pointing me in the direction of the dollar stores and telling me to get my coloring books for the kids there. However, for water coloring there is nothing better than these do a dot books, the pages never soak through, they never get holes in them. The kids also use them for the do a dots from time to time but the primary use around here is water colors. They don't work well for magic markers because they are porus and soak the marker right up. To control the cost I tear out the sheets one at a time and make sure the kids don't waste them. I have bought just about all of them and I particularly like this dinosar book because of it's bold drawings. 4Was excited to receive. More than the kids were ...Was excited to receive. More than the kids were to get. 3 and 4 year old boys used for 1 minute and then walked away. Didn't interest them to dot dot dot. More of a mess. I'll. Stick with crayons and markers or color book 4
