Awesome correctly shaped letters and numbersWe love the letters and numbers. My 2yr old granddaughter and I are having lots of fun. She can sing her ABCs, now we are learning to recognize them. I like that the letters are stamped out correctly. Some sets that I looked at were not. It is important to be able to recognize what letter is what. I love that the letters and numbers have the magnet on the full surface on the back. No small magnets to get dislodged that could be swallowed. I will point out these are foam letters, so since my granddaughter is only 2 yrs old I do not leave them on the refrigerator. I get them out when we play together. The reason is she still is notorious for putting things in her mouth. I do not want them chewed up. 5Exactly what I wantedPerfect for my special needs 4 year old son, as well as my 2 year old daughter. These magnets are easy to grasp. My son has fine motor deficiencies, and he can easily arrange these on a white board.They have a full magnetic backing. The magnet is the perfect strength--not so strong that a child can't get them off, nor so weak that they easily fall off when nudged.My main reasons for purchasing this set were thickness and the simplicity of the font. I don't like alphabets that are decaled with different patterns or shaped in a complex font. These magnets are perfectly simple and sturdy. I would definitely buy these again and recommend them to anyone looking for magnetic letters. 5We like these and so does our son!These magnets are just what we wanted. Sturdy foam, bright colors and a fully magnetic back. We gave them to our son for his first birthday because he was really enjoying playing with the other large-scale magnets we'd left on the fridge when we baby-proofed. Right now he plays with them just because of the colors and textures, but he's getting exposure to the shapes of letters and numbers even if he doesn't understand them yet. We only gave him the largest letters we were sure wouldn't pose a choking risk.While shopping around, one thing that attracted us to these is that they didn't have anything extra added to the letter or number shape. Many sets we found had things like eyes and hats drawn on or molded into the letters' shapes, and we didn't want to teach or son that letters have eyes. ;) 5I bought two this is my experienceWe were very happy with the magnets just as a scribe. Pros : These magnets are much easier for the kids to grab a hold of. They're much more defined and won't break as easy because of the larger size I would sit there three times the size as the small ones that you typically get with the package that you do when you purchased the easel very satisfied. Cons: One of the "O" had the magnetic backing detach when we open the package. This was a bit disappointing if there were any more that were detached I probably just would've called up for replacement or return but just because it was one I didn't see the need to call up; However I would check and count to make sure that amount of letters and numbers are in there as just part of the inspection.Update: So we've had him for about a week and a half to two weeks now the kids of been using them every morning while we sit down and go through the alphabets and help the morning spell, they've been great the only thing that I've noticed is that the magnets on the back even though they're thin and they magnetize very strong there are some cracking on some magnets on the back the magnet also starting to flare out on the sides so I don't know if that's part of the glue or if that is just the magnet starting to wear out or breakdown. If you like this review please let me know if this was helpful. 4Amazing ProductI liked how these looked so much I bought 3 different boxes (pink, yellow, blue - numbers, letters, animals, objects). All magnets came in terrific condition nothing peeling, ripped or chipped. Colors are vibrant and not a single animal picture is the same. There are 2 zebras, 2 jellyfish and 2 octopus, out of 2 different boxes, but they are different pictures & colors. That was one thing that I weas worried about, if I got 2 different box sets that came with objects and animals or numbers and animals, there would be any duplicates, there were none. Another thing that I like is that the magnets aren't hard to remove when being stuck to surfaces. They are strong enough not to slide down, but easy enough for the little one to take off. Magnets come in a resealable bag as well as a nice colorful box. Really nice looking product. 5Somewhat disproportionateVery nice foam letter magnets. I love that these have lower case letters, not just upper case. However, my one complaint would be that some of the lower case letters are proportionally just as large as their uppercase counterpart. I'm sure the intention is to make the letters a size easily grasped by little hands, but I find it somewhat confusing that the small "e" is just as tall as the "E." Other than that, I'm very pleased with these magnets. 4Magnet is very weak.I gave this product 2 stars because the magnet is weak. They do stick on my refrigerator. However, it does not hold papers. Plus they start falling off/sliding down when I open and close the door. I tied them on the dishwasher but result was the same. I just do not know where else I can put them in my house. They may be better if I have a magnetic board.Front part is foam and it can be damaged easily. My curious alsmost 3 years old bends and scratches so I have to throw some of them away.Overall, this is a cute set and great price. I recommend this product for older children. 2Almost perfect! Would still buy again though!As much as I like these because they are the perfect size and feel safe with the thin magnet backing.. an disappointed with the disproportionate multiples of letters. We had several sets of the plastic ones that just slid off the fridge so I finally found these and decided to give them a try and I m so glad I did. They stick perfectly, the size is perfect for my three year olds hands and there are plenty of each letter. 5very good quality solid foam and crisp magnetWe bought for our 18 month old who has been fond of playing with refrigerator magnets. These are solid colorful foam with magnet backing. There are a set of 10 digit numbers, a set of capital and 3 sets of lower case alphabets. My child does not know the alphabets, but keeps her busy moving the magnet letters and numbers back and forth.I will need to start calling out the letters one at a time while sticking it on the refrigerator. But for now, it's good for training her motor skills. 5
