    NOT WORTH THE MONEY, CANT EVEN COLOR PROPERLYColor is covered in wax and you have to push down with gorilla force to get any color. NO WAY COULD A 4+ YEAR OLD CHILD COLOR WITH THESE!!! These were ordered for my Daughter in her 30s that loves to draw when we are out and my 6 year old granddaughter. My daughter opened hers and immediately pointed out the wax on them. As she proceeded to try and use them she noted having to press down hard enough to hurt her hand to use them.Definitely not worth the money, you are basically paying for the case and 40 sheets of "5.5 x 8 paper" because the pencils can't even color properly. 1Fun gift idea, loved by my kidsI never would have purchased this set before my son received it as a 4th birthday gift (along with the book The Day the Crayons Quit--such a cute gift idea!) and it was his favorite, most-prized gift. My 6 year old daughter was also insanely jealous of this set. My 4-year-old is still toting it around almost 6 months later, and it is super convenient to bring along to restaurants, on car trips, weekends away, etc. It comes with some blank loose white paper, or you can fit a small/thin coloring book or notepad inside the case once the paper is gone.I am not a huge fan of the twistables crayons in general--I don't like that they have rounded tips and are never "sharp"--but my kids don't seem to mind at all. I've since given this set as a kid's birthday gift several times over along with The Day The Crayons Quit (or its more recent sequel) picture book. I highly recommend for boys and girls ages 3-6. 525 pieces not 65"65 pieces" should refer to only the pencils advertised and not sheets of paper... It's JUST paper too not like a drawing pad or anything. It should say 25 color pencils and bonus drawing paper or something like that. Misleading advertising got me to purchase this so I give crayola 2 stars for this 2this case is a great ideaIts so nice to have the carrying case with these pencils. It keeps the car, bag, drawers etc clean and organized.pencils can last a long time. kids will most likely extend the coloring part which will break off. once broken its hard to keep using.otherwise many great colors and no need an extra sharpener since these and twist back in its holder. 5CrayolaLove these pencils and the case. Was disappointed because the wording made it seem like there were a lot more pencils, but apparently they counted the individual pieces of paper that came with it as a piece. When I got it, it was advertised as a 65 piece set, so I'm glad they've changed that. But we are a Crayola household and it wouldn't keep me from buying them again. Pencils are fine and work...just expected more of them. 3Excellent Gift Idea For Tight BudgetsI purchased this for my granddaughter's 5th birthday. She loves to practice her letters and numbers and draw pictures. You should be aware, however, that when they say that there are 65 pieces, they are including each sheet of paper included as a "piece". There are only 25 different colored pencils and the paper included is smaller than a standard sheet of paper.What I liked about this product:1. No need for a pencil sharpener. If the pencil breaks, the child can simply twist the end to reveal more pencil.2. The case also acts as a lap desk for the child to draw/color on.3. The colored pencils are held firmly in place when you click them in their spot.4. Very economical price.I can't think of anything I specifically dislike about this product. As long as you read the description, then it is everything it promises to be. 5Almost "just right"... , except for the missing crayonHmm. Since this purchase was for me I'll be ok with it, but if it were a gift, I'd be disappointed. Also, since I didn't buy it via Amazon Prime (it was an "over $25 free shipping" purchase), it took a little while to arrive, so, I'm guessing returning/replacing it would take around a few weeks & I don't wanna pay return shipping or deal with any other possible hassle/issue over, well, a few crayons.This big ol' box of crayons looks almost exactly as it does in the listing, except all the little inner boxes sit at the same level, not teired, as shown (no big deal for me). The box is a thick, sturdy cardboard, the inner boxes are thin cardstock (like they are in the larger sets). There is also a green plastic crayon sharpener. There were also some rolled up coloring pages included, which is nice, if it's a gift. My little niece will love getting them next time I see her : )My main issue is, one of the crayons is missing... & I have no idea which one. It was easy to tell, since the crayons are all snuggly packed in even rows in the little boxes, & there was clearly an empty spot in one little box. Yes, I even counted. Also, two crayons had the tips broken off (one was still inside the bottom of the storage box, no sign of the other, or the missing crayon).Again, since this is for me anyhow, not too big a deal, although I'd really like to know which crayon is missing, since I may already have it in a smaller set.If not for those issues, I'd have been totally satisfied with this fun little purchase. Regardless, it's still a great selection of colors & types (basic, glitters, etc) for the price. 4Crayola quality, but not for little guysWhat you d expect for Crayola quality, can t fault them.But I got these for my 2 year old. He wanted a coloring suitcase like his big brothers and this was the only one that didn t have markers (he may or may not like to draw on the walls occasionally). Unfortunately these are EXTREMELY breakable if the user decides to just keep twisting!(Think: mechanical pencil in the hands of a toddler.)Still 5 Stars: they re cute, fun, and good quality. If you re thinking for a 4-5 year old+ then I m sure they d be loved! 5Duplicates Nothing NewBummer, really disappointed! Everyone knows Crayola is the Grand Marquee of anything related to coloring.I search all the time for unique, metallic, construction paper,vetc variety of crayons. Unusual colors, bold, bright etc so when I found this huge box of 208 crayons I thought I had found back steps to Heaven.Unbelievable disappointment when I oped box to find out it's just same thing I could have gotten anywhere. Duplicates - double amount of regular colors and those stupid neon ones I hate in singular let alone doubles. I should have returned but dumped in give away box to grandkids. I read details and description fairly often especially when finding unusual items but they flat out deceived meSorry, but just buy 3 to boxes of 64 at a dollar store for $9. You will have same thing! I'm passing up Crayola brand because well I'm finding they cost more and for unique, unusual, inspiring colors you will do better with Faber Castell, or even some of the recommended Prime Editor picks. Let it be clear Crayola is great but they need to clear, honest, and open with advertising products. 3
