    Great for deployed soldiers!I ordered a few different travel games to send to my son in Iraq then Kuwait. He said they were good quality and highly appreciated by his unit. For the price he'll be able to leave them for the incoming soldiers when he comes home without an issue. 5Very Small PiecesI bought this game for a road trip for my 8 and 10 year old to play to pass the time. The pieces are so small that they didn't even find it enjoyable. They really could not play at all ....and it is not magnetic or even car friendly. I would not waste the time or the money on this travel size game. 3Great nostalgiaWhat better way to incorporate your childhood than a great game to teach the kids from your childhood? That's what I thought 5DisappointedWe're very disappointed with this product. The actual folded game box is about half the size of the cardboard box it comes in. The cards and other items inside are smaller than they really need to be. There are smaller square-shaped cards for the weapons. Regularly-sized weapons would have fit and been more appreciated. The bag the pieces come in doesn't zip closed, so you have to find a solution for storing them within the box or deal with them sliding around and falling out when it is opened. The dice are so small that we tend to lose them, unless we have a box in which to roll them (the cardboard box the whole thing arrived in is just one piece). Since the pictures on the board are so small, we had to look very closely to determine where the doors are for each room. We finally took a marker to draw a 'D' in front of each of the doors. The colors are off on the starting spot for Green (gray) and Mustard (orange). The investigator sheets could have been 50-75% bigger than they are. We will probably be expanding and printing them on a copier, or we'll find a magnifying glass to pass around. Positive? the new rooms are interesting (we have the OLD Clue and Master Detective Clue). 1Travel size is travel size. I get that. ...Travel size is travel size. I get that. But if the game is a game that can't be reduced to "travel size", then just don't do it! There is nothing about this game that is even reasonable to be able to see. The only reason I am even giving it 2 stars is because it made us all laugh SO hard on our family vaca that I just feel I owe it a star! Other than that..... we left it in the hotel room when we left. It's truly worthless. 2My favorite childhood gameI was gathering travel items for our trip to Europe when I found this travel game. It was beyond perfect! It was small and compact and easy to travel with. We have used it now for trips, in flight, camping, etc. It is still the fun game I remember playing as a kid only mini sized. Overall, really liked this product. 5Great for travel but a bit flimsy and cheapClassic Clue game in miniature. Great for travel but a bit flimsy and cheap. Could have been made a bit more durable especially considering that this is used for travel so would be packed, unpacked, thrown in a bag, etc. more often. Also could've been more creative with pawn pieces - maybe weigh then down so they stay put...or maybe even incorporate magnets. It's a travel game - but hard to play in something like a car...easier in a plane as long as there's no turbulence! My kids enjoyed it though, despite this. 3Just a mini version, not a travel versionThis is supposed to be a travel game, but really it's just a small version. You can't play it in a car or on a plane because of all of the tiny pieces. It should be magnetic or have a way to click the pieces into place, but the board is just cardboard so there's no way to keep the pieces on the board when traveling. 1Great concept, poor executionTravel sized clue. Sounds great, but very cheaply made. It's not very expensive, so I wasn't expecting great quality material, but the cards are tiny, thin, and insubstantial. Nearly unusable in adult hands. The board is folded cardstock that is supposed to lay on the case during, but even if you fold the crease out it still doesn't sit flat and shifts easily during play. The character game pieces are also tiny but slightly too large for the board squares. They are decent solid plastic but will require a dextrous touch. The notebook is about the size of a matchbox and will leave farsighted folks helpless. The small footprint is excellent and the major selling point for me, but the trade off in quality leaves me disappointed with my purchase. 2Don't waste your money.This is really poorly designed. The unit comes as really cheap and flexible plastic with stickers for the game-board that you have to stick on yourself, plus the game-board ends up on the OUTSIDE of the game when it's folded up, so it's constantly getting rubbed against while traveling. The game pieces are so light that they stick to your fingers when you go to move them and they fall over constantly. The cards are so-so. No need for them to be that tiny, actually. Plus the weapons could have easily been actual replicas on the weapons just like in the real game, but they are cheap, flat, square cards that are hard to see on the game-board and you are constantly getting them mixed up in the clue cards. The paper where you keep track of the clues is so small that my kids were even having a hard time using it. Bottom line is: if you want to take CLUE with you when you travel, then just bring the full-size one. This one is a huge waste of money and I returned it after its very first trip with us. 1
