    Great valueI was thrilled to find this quantity packaged at this sale price. I like to include base plates at Christmas time with builder sets, but they are usually all sold out in stores and online, or super expensive for a single plate. And they never include bricks with which to build up. This will allow a builder to construct multiple items and display them for longer than a day. The kid is happy and Mom/Dad don't have to worry about floor space.I personally am not a builder, so I don't have an opinion on color shades but I know it's important to have different colors for different areas and this package gives 3 (grass/water/city) . The bases appear to be the same construction/quality of others I have previously bought (and paid more for). I'm very happy with this purchase and can't wait to give it away to a deserving kid. 5We were very happy with the quality of these Strictly Briks base platesWe were very happy with the quality of these Strictly Briks base plates. They works with all my sons Legos, Mega blocks, and Kreo blocks. We actually bought them to use to make our own homemade Lego table. They worked out great. The backs are smooth and flat enough that we were able to get them to adhere nicely to the plywood. The plates are nice and flat and perfectly square. They look great, and they work great as a table or just for playing with on the floor. The included bricks were an added bonus. My son was super happy with how it turned out. I would recommend these as a great, cheaper alternative to expensive Lego plates. 5Cheap and Falls Over!I was looking for a LEGO storage toy where my boys can store AND play with their LEGO sets they have built. I thought this would be perfect, but I was wrong...This is one of the most infuriating toys I ve ever purchased for my boys. They are flimsy and the LEGO brand legos pop off of the bases. My boys are 4 and 6. We built one tower out of the set and not 10 minutes later it was in pieces on the floor in a big pile. Not only was the tower in pieces, but so were the LEGO sets that were placed on each level. I m not going to spend my time re-building the tower only to have it fall over again. It s being returned to Amazon. The concept is great, but the execution was poor. I m surprised that there are so many 5 star reviews. Makes me wonder if they are fake, because this product is not a 5 star product. 1Strictly Briks mega tower with 2" stackersDefinitely recommend these. The base plates are stackable, which means the undersides have holes to insert other studs. That is not the case with all similarly looking base plates. I bought two sets and was able to put together a tower of over 7 feet even using just single 2 inch stacker bricks in 3X columns (6 inches each). They don't snap together as tightly as fully encased lego bricks, but for making high rises, they are more than adequate. And if you put two of the stackers back to back, they do feel solid. The attached photo shows 12 levels of the 10" base plates, plus a few extra bricks at the top. I would have tried to make it taller but needed more squares. No tape or glue was involved here, but it did take a lot of patience and a few attempts. 5They are thicker/stiffer sturdy materials than the Lego brandWe bought these base plates a year ago. They are thicker/stiffer sturdy materials than the Lego brand. I appreciate the economy pricing and compatibility of this product. We rarely stack them with those extra pieces, as we found that could be cause for kids to cry if something they built on a base plate got knocked over by their carelessness when trying to display each layer above the next. BUT we use those extra pieces often for building walls and such. So while I don't recommend them as sufficient sturdiness to create shelves, we definitely got lots of bang-for-our-buck using the pieces for other purposes mixed in with our Lego and generic brick sets. 5Great product for a great value.I bought this for a birthday present for my son. He loves it. It is a great price for 5 baseplates. The only issue, which really isn't an issue, is that legos are a little hard to get off of the base plates. The only reason this bothers my son is because he makes stop motion videos with his Legos and it is hard for him to move pieces quickly. However for building on I think they are great! They also have different color options which makes it even more fun. 5These work great with Lego's and I am telling all my friends ...It has been a week and I wanted my kids to test them before I left a comment. My kids love it. 5Kids loved it!Base is large and sturdy. The bonus bricks are different shaped than what we're accustomed to but it's okay. Since it works with the base.I haven't seen my kids try building anything with the brick nor the base. Right now the little kid stacked his share like a building pretending it is a house for the mini figures. The bigger kid used his share as base for his minecraft creations. Both kids happy and that's all that matter.I am very happy too because I find that this set is the most affordable on amazon considering the size of the base, the qty of the base included in the package and the bonus bricks. Highly recommended! 5NASCAR and worst of allMy 7 year old grandson lives with us, which means that I am constantly engaged in picking up Thomas the Train, NASCAR and worst of all, Legos. Brody enjoys assembling and flying the latest Starship, creating the next Minecraft excavation site and heads, body parts and armor for seemingly every minifigure Lego has made. My frustration is that upon being played with, many of the assembled structures tend to separate leaving loose pieces in a mixed jigsaw puzzle.These multicolor base plates allow Brody to keep most of the structural elements to be locked in place for future enjoyment without having to sort them back into piles of uncertain origen. (I sort by color and function by sandwich bag. I'm open to alternative suggestions.) Not only are these plates helpful, they were very reasonably priced compared to other online and eBay selling prices, and the colors match the Minecraft and other setting very well.I also appreciated Strictly Briks adding several Lego pieces of various sizes and styles at no additional cost to add to my collection of sandwich bags (sometimes large freezer bags as well).And yes, I'm retired and re-living my childhood as Brody's manservant. So, take my word, this is a very useful product for any Lego builder. 5Great for creativity, not for novice users without helpThey do work with the lego blocks that we've used so far. The stacks are harder to make than I would like. My 5 year old can't do it himself whereas he can make a basic effort with normal legos with base plates or making a car, etc. I don't mind helping my kid, but I'm hoping that these plates loosen a tiny bit with usage. Also we felt as thought you needed more than 1 center support for the plates when stacking. The good news is that the company provided plenty of the pieces for stacking. Overall the kid likes it and I'm happy to give him a product that he can use to make a fire house or a police station, which were the first two ideas he came up with after we opened them up. 4
