    My son still loves this costumeHe was a police officer for Halloween last year, and didn't want to part with this costume afterwards. Sometimes he wears it as pajamas, and other times he wears it while he's running around the neighborhood with his friends. It's lasted longer than most Halloween costumes usually do. 5Nice shirt and badge.The shirt is nice. The quality is a lot better than I expected, but plan on buying some pants if you want them to look good. Otherwise, the kid will look like he is wearing his rather large, baggy pj s to the costume party! The belt is large and flimsy with Velcro. 3Made of quality materialI was pleased that the pants and shirt are made of a thick, durable material...something that can definitely stand up to a 7 year old boy! My son loves the costume and has worn it numerous times before halloween already. We've even had to wash it and it came out looking great (delicates cycle and line-dried). 5Cute costume, but waaaaay too long for any child!The costume was cute enough, but the pants length fit me! I m 5 4 ...way too long for a child s costume! My son, for reference, is 5 years old, on the thinner side, and is 3 6 ...so he s no shortie! Had to hem last minute for my son s birthday party. 2My son's favorite costumeThe costume has included with it a short, pants, belt, handcuff and badge. The belt was essentially useless as it was very large (I cut it down to size) and doesn't really have a latch or clasp of some type to keep it held in place. We pinned it to his pants because he wanted the look. Over all, the fabric seems to have held up well. After Halloween we washed it in tha machine (though the label says to hand wash) and it has held up to the occasional dress up day. 4Super cute costumeSuper cute costume. Pants were a bit big, but didn't look bad once the outfit was all put together. Just a little weird in sizing when comparing the pants to the shirt, but my son was able to wear thermal pants comfortably under them to stay warm for trick-or-treating Halloween night. 4Decent Costume For The PriceI liked the costume. My kids loved it. The pants were quite a bit longer than I had expected and I went by his typical pant size but it was still too long. The shirt fit well though. Although the larger size, 10-12, fit perfectly on my 9 yr old who wears a size 10 in jeans. So I guess it's just iffy on whether it'll actually fit true to size or not.Very thin material, which is typical of any costume. The handcuffs are your typical cheap plastic cuffs that easily break. I did, however, buy a separate badge that looked more authentic that hangs around the neck but the one it comes with works fine for what it's purpose is. The hat, however, although I thought was cute never ended up getting worn. Very flimsy hat just mainly material with no shape or form to it. Both of my boys hated the hat but the costume is still cute without it. 4Prepare to hem!When people say this runs large, they don t mean by just one size... think at least two sizes for the shirt and the pants are more likely to fit you than your kid, lol! We bought a size down but the shirt still swallowed her whole. The pants were so long (even in comparison to the shirt) that though we managed to rig them for school, she absolutely refused to continue wearing them for trick-or-treating. Unfortunately my daughter has sensory issues and can t stand wearing long sleeves and this was the only short sleeve cop costume we could find. The material was cheap but has now lasted several washings and everything is as plastic and cheap as can be but she liked it. If you really need short sleeves or can only afford this costume then you can make it work but it wouldn t be my first costume recommendation. 3Great police costume birthday giftWe got this as a gift for one of our nephews. He loved it! His smile on his face. It engulfs him as a 4 year old but he will grow in to it and be able to have it for the next few years. Seems well made. Note the provided cuffs are plastic and super cheap looking. I doubt those will last but the outfit is sure to be fun for a good long while. 5Light-weight material, my 6 year old loved it.Bought this for my 6 year old for Halloween - very light weight material which was great for here in Florida where it was 80 degrees on Halloween. The accessories that come with it our cheap and plastic - I bought an extra pair of metal handcuffs. The badge does NOT stay on - I had to sew it on. The belt is cheap and also does not stay on - I stapled it closed lol. But, for the price, it is great and my son loved it. 5
