    Probably THE Best Canasta Cards EverOK, so I'm old and not as worldly as I thought I was; however, I'd never seen Canasta cards like these before! The card score value is printed right on each card! All those years I've played Canasta wondering "...now is the 7 worth 10 points, or is it the 8?" Now the card score value is a no brainer, even my wife can keep score now...err, now don't tell her I said that! Seriously, this is a two deck set of great quality cards made expressly for Canasta and really do have the card score value printed right on each card. My wife and I use them all the time and we love them! 5Convenient deck & also cute scorecardsI love having a deck (two in this set) that is just for euchre; no need to always sort out the euchre cards from the regular deck. Having those unmarked score cards just makes the game that much better. It's the little things in life that can make us happy sometimes & this little time-saving splurge was so affordable that I couldn't resist. Cards are good quality--just like regular Bicycle brand cards. 5Great decks - nice design, with point values and instructionsWhy buy a Canasta deck anyway? First of all, you need two extra jokes, so unless you have two decks with the same backs and wearing, you need a Canasta deck. Second of all, if you have never played Canasta (as I myself have not), or if you want to teach your friends, having the point value on the cards is a big help. There is also a star symbol for special cards and the points are in tastefully small print underneath the card name. The deuces have "Wild!" in big letters right in the middle, which I thought was a nice touch. Printed instructions instead of just web support! Leave your Hoyle's paperback at home and your phone in your pocket. The backs are quite pretty, with mirror images of a hand fan with a bicycle with festoonery beneath and antique scrolling all around, first introduced in 1894. Made in USA. Play the game born in Uruguay that spread to Argentina and then America to become the most popular card game in the states in 1953, known at first as "Argentinian Rummy". 5Only buy for the boxEach deck contains 56 cards but half of them are useless and basically only there to fill the box. It has 6s, 7s, and 8s for some reason and a bunch of other useless instruction cards.The score cards are a nice thought but what's irritating is all the 4s are spades and the 6s are diamonds so each team will have a black and red card. Not a big deal but annoying. It does include an extra of each.What I plan on doing is throwing out all the useless cards and buying a standard red deck and making another euchre deck out of it to put in the same box. That way I'll have 2 euchre decks in the same box that are different colors so it's easy to sort out if they get mixed up and the box says euchre on it so I know it's not a full deck. The only reason to buy this is the words "euchre" on the box.What they should have done is lose all the useless cards put 2 euchre decks (basically a pinochle deck with score cards) in each pack and have one in blue and one in red. That way you're getting 4 euchre decks and you can mix the colors so it's easy to sort in the event they get mixed up. 3If you play Canasta got to have these!I have recently discovered this fun game and started a weekly canasta afternoon for a group of ladies. Another group that I learned to play canasta with had lovely cards but they were not canasta cards. The difference is these cards are value marked and make the game so much more enjoyable without having to think about card values. The cards I received are basic red backs. Each box contains 2 decks of cards so 4-6 can play. I bought two sets so we can have 2 tables of 4 playing. The cards are on the thin side which makes them easy to shuffle but also easier to bend. There is an insert that gives some rules to help learn this game. I would suggest you go online and find a score sheet to print out or purchase score sheets. 5Only a few difference from a standard deck, but some cute small touches"Does what it says on the tin", it's cards and they're for Euchre. Not really much different from the standard deck, other than that a number of the extra cards are used as a rulebook, and they toss in some 6-7-8 cards, I believe for playing games like sheepshead.The only real reasons to buy these specifically Euchre cards- The case for the deck says "Euchre" on it which is kinda neat- It has the counter cards, with pips but no numbers, which is kinda coolPersonally, I kinda wish they had just the cards needed for Euchre and made the whole pack slimmer, but I suppose that'd involve having to make a non-standard size of box. But overall decent quality cards, a few small neat nods to Euchre-ness, etc. 4Canasta!We bought two sets of this game. Even though you can use regular playing cards, it's nice to have the point values listed on the cards. My partner especially appreciates that because she has memory issues and it helps her be independent in totaling up her score at the end of the hands.You can never go wrong with this brand of cards. They work great with our card shuffler which is a must when you're playing hand and foot Canasta with three decks! 5am now able to shuffle easily. They're the standard Bicycle cards and of good ...Bought one 6 pack, and one 2 pack. But (as all new cards are?), they are very stiff and almost impossible to shuffle. With the 6 pak, have to use an auto shuffler. With the 2 pack, after some use, am now able to shuffle easily. They're the standard Bicycle cards and of good quality. I can't really say there's anything different about these that could be considered a negative. The Canasta version is great as boyfriend no longer needs to keep asking me what the point value are. 4Love the Canasta Game Playing Cards VERY MUCH!!Love these cards! Being a new Canasta player these cards help me so much since each card has its point count on the card. Even the ones that have been playing for a while love these cards. Teaching someone new, they really come in handy!!! Thank you so much!!! 5Nice cards.These have a pretty design on the back. They can be used for any other card games besides Canasta, but the 2's are marked as wilds and there are points for Canasta scoring on each card. Like other Bicycle cards, these have a nice feel, not too flimsy. They were not my first choice for Canasta cards. I wanted the Canasta Caliente cards but those are hard to find and cost a lot more than these Bicycle ones. The game rules in this pack for freezing the discard pile are a little different than Canasta rules in the Caliente game (even if you don't use the Caliente cards) and Hoyle's Rules of Games book. In the Bicycle instructions, black 3's are used to freeze the pile. In other rules, black 3's are simply stop cards (Canasta Caliente only had stop cards, no black 3's) that keep the next player from picking up from the discard pile. I'm just mentioning this because another buyedr may want to look up rule variations if they buy these cards. Also, the rules in this pack don't include instructions for 2 players. That doesn't make any difference in the cards, though. They are nice and I will order these again as gifts. 4
