Very sturdy toy, great alternative to markers, crayons, or magnetic boardThis is a great alternative to markers, crayons, or those magnetic board. No mess, just water. The part of the board that get wet turns darker color. The board and the water markers are made out of good quality plastic. My kid loves it. 5Pay more attention than I did!Although there are 4 color "pens", all they do is make a wet line on the board. My granddaughter wanted this, so I ordered it. My granddaughter was so disappointed. The water"pens" do not initiate a color change on the writing pad. She's 4 so wouldn't have realized this. At quick glance I saw 4 different color "pens"; I should have paid more attention to the pictures and the output of the "pens". Perhaps a low review isn't fair as there is no false advertising as it does as it should and I just didn't realize. However, I feel there is some misleading advertising. Four different color pens leads one to think there are 4 different writing colors. 1Great toy 15mo and 3 1/2 love it!15 mo and 3 1/2 year old keep going back to this drawing board. I have found it in every room in the house. Actually one was on toilet drawing the other day. I'd say its a win, its got 4 pens that stay w/water for days and easy to fill! Pens also snap into the board which is perfect for multi age. Little ones like to have one pen per hand. 5Perfect for babiesGot for my one year old and she loves it! It's safe because it's just water and it's durable. She's dropped it down stairs, gotten rough, hit her brother with it. LOL! And it's still holding strong. Both my 5 year old and 1 year old love to draw on it. It's perfect for road trips or trips to Grandma's cause it's just water and it's hard to get the water everywhere, but if they manage it's an easy clean! 5Dries immediately, also, 4 marker colors are just for show.Dries almost immediately, also, not sure why they send 4 "markers" depicting different colors. The water doesn't effect the color is the marker. Glad I only paid $10 and some change. Still returning. 1Watch Water DryThis was a late night panic purchase (Christmas was days away). If I had actually read the description and realized it s literally just putting water on the thing and seeing it get dark from the water (then having to wait for it to dry to use it again), I would ve saved my money and had my kids do the same thing with construction paper.1 Star is for the occasional amusement it provides my toddlers who think it s hilarious to spit on it and make slobber pictures . And the other star is for preventing dehydration in the aforementioned toddlers who would rather suck the water out of the little brushes than walk six feet to the kitchen and drink from their cups. 2Stains very easily and cannot use after thatI thought this would be great for my daughter who loves to draw on everything, but after 2 days of use, I realized that there were stains (made by my daughter) on both sides of the board, and one of the water pens was not working. I wouldn't recommend this for toddlers because if they hold the board with their dirty hands, they will completely ruin it and you wouldn't be able to use it anymore. The idea is nice and smart, but just not practical for use of a toddler or any kid really. 3Good, but had to dock a star...Got this at Christmas for my son who turned one in November. Right off the bat, I can tell this is another well-made B. toy. Nice, thick plastic, solid construction built to withstand drops and play by a one-year-old, and beautiful colors. This toy is thoughtfully designer with the slots for each of the four markers. I filled up each marker and popped them into place. They stayed put, yet were easy to pop out for use. My son is still too young to understand the cause-and-effect or drawing, so I ve since placed this on a shelf to try again later, perhaps when he s 18 months as recommended by B. So you re probably wondering why I docked a star, right? Well as much as I love the design and function of this toy, I noticed that marks were left behind after the water dried on the drawing surface. You can still see the outlines of what was drawn and since evaporated. Too bad, but then again, not that big of a deal. I know my son won t even notice. Looking forward to trying this toy again in a few months and hopefully, using it in the car or on plane flights. 4Love this!We have had one of these for about theee years and just bought another for our one year old. Both of our girls love it and will draw on it for hours. It is a great toy, and has been fantastic for teaching my daughter to read and write. 5Super fun, until it got colored on with crayons and pencils.I really, really liked this toy, and so did my daughter. The pens do get lost (I don't care that there is a place to snap them on to the board, that doesn't always happen), and then my daughter got a hold of a pencil and a crayon and colored on both sides, which makes it look kind of dirty, and it seems like since then she hasn't played with it as much. I don't know if I dare try to wash the pencil off or not. 4
