The kids both fight over him because he is so soft and lovable :) 5So soft and snugglyThis little guy is so incredibly soft and cuddly, he has become a favorite of my little girls. I did have to trim a few spots of his fur that did not get cut properly coming out of production, but it was minor and easily done. The spots could have been left, but they had bits of the fabric backing on them and interrupted the softness when you were stroking him. He's a very lifelike little fellow and a great addition to our stuffed animal family. 5A friend for life!I bought this for my daughter who is expecting her first baby. When she was a baby herself, someone gave her an almost exact twin and one day when she was about two years old, she was watching a cartoon about a dog who looked very much like her stuffed animal that had been sitting on a shelf in her room since she received it. She went into her room, picked up the little dog, named it Shafer (after the dog in the cartoon) and he has been part of her life ever since, even going off to college with her and into her married life. He's had many "surgeries" along the way and is a little raggedy, but most of all he shows years of unconditional love. I hope her little boy finds the same comfort and love from "Shafer, Jr." that she did. 5Happy Boy!!!!Our son LOVES his doggie!!! He would sleep with him every night......until we could find doggie for awhile. I finally found him on Amazon!!! I put in the washing machine and then in the dryer if any comes out just fine.
