Customer Reviews

Posably AwesomeIf you're an Assassin's Creed fan, and you're looking for something physical to show your fanaticism, then this is a great "collectable" to get.I bought this for my brother who is a fan, and he just loved it. This toy is highly posable, and so you can pose it in almost any position. My brother chose to style him like how Ezio looks on the cover of the game.I don't follow Assassin's Creed, but I'm a fan of a well made "collectable". 5Ezio Action Figure Series 2Ordered this for a gift.Came 2 days early, in a sturdy box, packaged very well my sister had to take her time getting it out it was packaged so well. This was the perfect gift for her she was so excited to get this that she was jumping up and down and she is almost 30! (but that's another story!) Would recommend this company for products any day of the week or year! 5Used as a modelGreat product, incredible amount of joints. Much more than when I was a kid. I purchased it to use as a model to reproduce a full sized costume for my nephew (10 years old, not used professionally). The details and layers were amazing, I was able to use a magnifying glass and recreate the intricate details of the buckles. All in all, awesome. There were one's way more expensive, but I don't see why anyone would need something beyond this one. 5Ezio figure is pretty cool. This figure is cool but of course theres never a perfect figure or toy whatever you like too call it (i like to use "figure").the good parts of this figure:the joints are not too stiff.(on mine)the daggers are retractable.most of the clothing are soft plastic or rubber.bad parts about this figure:hidden daggers are fragile.the figure came with a set of hands that didnt include a sword. (figure has three sets of hand which is good)and the paint may fade or wipe off. (feels like powder when i feel the paint)so over all this figure is good. just be carfull if your buying it for your kid. (tell them be carful with it) 5Molto Bello!Assassin's Creed II is one of my favorite games of all time, and even though by the time "Brotherhood" came out, I was nearing the "OK, that's plenty of this series" point, I still enjoyed it. So, it made sense that I needed a fine figure like the NECA Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Master Assassin Ezio for display on my shelf. When I took the figure from the packaging, I immediately noticed the quality feel of the figure. It has a good weighty feel to it, and the materials are high quality. The sculpt on this figure is nothing short of beautiful. The colors are subtle and somewhat muted, and are reminiscent of the in-game graphics. The articulation of the figure is actually more impressive than I initially thought it would be. The armor of the figure does not impede articulation as much as you might think it would because most of the plastic is soft and malleable allowing the legs, waist, and arms to move freely. The figure does have a bit of a "stability" issue as it pertains to standing on it's own free will. It will stand, but it does not take much to cause it to fall.Nice details like the interchangeable hands, and double Assassin's Blades that are both extendable, retractable, and even removable, are great touches. The biggest problem I have with this figure is the paint on the hands. It is very evident that these hands are all sculpted, assembled, and then dipped in paint and left to dry. This leads to an immediate chipping and scraping of the paint on the hands when you move the wrists, or change them. This is disappointing in that it leads to white patches on the wrists of the figure. For such a beautiful figure, it's a little perplexing that such a corner would be cut in quality.Overall, the figure is a wonderful piece for display, and if you are a fan of the game series, then I would recommend it. 4Wonderful figure...Beautifully detailed! Ordered one as a gift for a friend, who was pleasantly surprised and excited to add it to her collection of other Assassin's Creed figures. I would definitely order one again. The figure is sturdy and the joints are not loose, so it's perfect to pose (within reason, though). As I mentioned before, the detail on the face is fantastic and does not look 'derp' as my friend put it. Overall, it is a quality figure. 5Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - Ezio, Legendary AssassinMy brother is a very avid (read: hardcore) fan of the Assassin's Creed games. He also loves to collect figures of his favorite characters from games, series, movies, etc. Naturally, he would eventually want this one. So, after doing a lot of research into the various Assassin's Creed figures available for purchase, I finally decided on this one for his birthday. You wouldn't believe how excited he was when he saw this. The figure is well detailed, from the small lines that adorn the robe, to the overall look and feel of the figure. It is made of durable plastic, so I doubt it will break easily (DISCALIMER: I am not giving the go ahead to toss the figure off a five-story building as a test for durability). For your posing pleasure, the figure comes with some accessories. Included in the figure are three sets of interchangeable hands (closed hands; loosely-open hands; wide-open hands); and in addition, two removable, concealed blades located on the underside of the forearms. As stated on the box the figure came in, Ezio here exhibits ~38 points of articulation. Unfortunately, the bottom part of his robe prevents much movement in the leg area; but then again, I don't seem to recall Ezio performing too many splits throughout the game anyways. Regardless, he can still be put into some awesome poses, such that you could re-enact scenes from the game itself.Overall, I personally am very happy with this guy, as is my brother. So if you're looking for a nice, simple figure that well-represents Ezio, this figure should do nicely, since it isn't as expensive as the others, but still exhibits a nice amount of detail. 5For the Assassin in Your Life!I bought this because my boyfriend and I are avid Assassin's Creed players and he hinted that he wanted this one (and the younger version) for his birthday. Now that his birthday has come and gone, he really enjoys having this. The packaging was good, presentable if you too want to give it as a gift, and easy enough to open. The figure itself is highly detailed, down to the embroidery of his cloak that was painted. The movement of his limbs are a bit tough like the other actions figures; his arms and wrists stick or lock up sometimes so just be gentle when you change his poses. The clothing is as accurate as possible to the game from what I could tell. Overall, its a great "toy" to put on a display case, add to a collection, or to have guarding over your computer. 5Assassin Creed CollectibleI bought this for my son as a Christmas gift. He absolutely loved it. The details are so intricate. This is a great price for what you get. This figure is very sturdy. My son has played with it and no parts have broken or come off. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. 5Third time's the charm.WOW. No other words can aptly describe this action figure, period. NECA has been making Assassin's Creed action figures for a while now, starting with their Altair figure released all the way back in 2007, to last year's Assassin's Creed 2 figures. And while both of them featured great sculpting and (albeit a bit too ambitious) paint apps, their successor effectively trumps them in not only both those categories, but also throws in a spectacular amount of articulation, leading to what is quite possibly the best 6-7" action figure this year.Ezio is dressed in his outfit from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood; last year's entry into the now annual Assassin's Creed games release. The look is certainly well captured here, from the all white master assassin robes, to Ezio's peculiarly signature half-cape, all the way down into the buckles and heels of his boots. One thing to note, however, is that much like his predecessors, the figure varies in minute details from the in-game sprite, this being due to the source of the figure being not the in-game model, but rather the concept art/digital renders of Ezio released before the game. This means he has matching vambraces on his forearms, and a single metal spaulder on his left shoulder. In all honesty, this is all for the better, as the silver/metal complements the white much better than the in-game brown/leather does, adding to the aesthetic appeal of the figure. Lastly, Ezio features sculpted stubble around his goatee, which is also sculpted accurately to the character. Any other company would've cheaped out here and simply painted a weird gray/brown shadow on the figure's lower face, but NECA's sculptors went the extra mile and actually etched the details in. Applaud-able.Owners of previous AC (and NECA, in general) figures will testify to the hit-and-miss nature of their figures' paint apps, which more often than not detract from the excellent sculpting of the figure. Rest assured, however, that Ezio is a definite improvement. Whereas Altair and the younger Ezio suffered from slop greatly, this figure right here has almost no slop. There are a few specks of darker paint on the white of his robes, yes, but none of it is entirely noticeable. Furthermore, the figure is primarily cast in a very, very light gray, with a nice, white dry brushing added all over to create perfect shadows and bring out all of the patterns and (sculpted) embroidery on Ezio's robes. The reds are nice and crisp as well, and the silvers look and even feel almost like real metal. A similar combination of cast color and dry brushing is used on Ezio's boots; this time with the base being black and a gray/black/brown dry brushing added to accentuate their leather-like texture. Definitely one of NECA's best paint jobs. Certain parts of the figure (lower robes. upper chest/collar/hood) are cast in a very soft, pliable rubber rather than plastic, and not only does this not detract from the sculpt in any way, but also adds to what makes this figure truly great; Articulation! The packaging claims Ezio has 38 points of articulation, and he does indeed! The breakdown is as follows:Ball-jointed head (2)Ball-jointed neck (1)Marvel Legends style forward/back hinged shoulders (2)Ball-jointed shoulders (4)Swivel biceps (2)ball-jointed elbows (4)ball-jointed wrists (4)Hinged abdomen (1)Swivel waist (1)Ball jointed hips ( 2)Swivel thighs (2)Double hinged knees (4)Swivel shins/boot tops (2)Hinged ankles (2)Side-to-side/"rocker" ankles (2)Hinged toes (2)I don't think anymore needs to be said here, apart from that all previous problems of limited range in the joints has been fixed, and that the construction is quite sturdy.Ezio comes with 8 accessories; two removable hidden blades (that attach into his inner vambraces/forearms), and 3 sets of hands; a pair of fists, a pair of "blade thrusting" open palms, and a "sword-wielding" set with a gripping right hand and a semi-relaxed left hand. The hands feature the same great sculpting, looking nothing short of scaled replicas of the human hand. He even has finely carved wrinkles in his palms! The blades are nice and long as they should be, and, despite being near identical, feature a neat little "R" and "L" sculpted into the hilts of the right and left blades, respectively, just in case you need to know which goes where. While it would've been nice if they'd thrown in a sword or a crossbow with the figure, it certainly isn't something the figure lacks, and you'll still be able to have plenty of fun with this guy without his weapons of mass destruction.I've had this figure in hand for a little over 24 hours, and i have not put him down. He's just a FUN toy to pick up and fiddle around with. He features great detail across the board, and the articulation just carries all that forward into an action figure that is just perfect. Kids, adults, collectors, fans of AC looking for a neat little collectible; this is it right here. 5
