    Grandbaby loves it.First birthday present and she loves it. Its the perfect height for her to cruise around. I was worried about other negative remarks on sharp corners and things not being right. All the corners are rounded!!! YESSS for safety. 5Very Cool ToyI keep my 17 month old grandson and am sick to death of beeping, singing noisy toys. I started looking for wood toys and found some very cool ones. This one was more expensive than I usually paid. I just liked it so much. It looked like fun. I am a little disappointed. It looks good, but there is just not much to it. It kept his interest for a very short period of time. I still think it is a great toy. I think it would be great for a younger baby. Maybe 7-15 months. Maybe he has just gotten used to the noisy ones. I am hoping that it will grow on him. 4**Safety concerns now fixed**It appears that several of the things other reviewers posted concerns about regarding the safety of this toy have since been addressed and fixed by the company. The edges on the corners have been sanded down so they're not sharp and it is no longer on a Lazy Susan style spinning base.As for the features of this activity center itself, they are wonderful. Our seven month old loves many aspects of it and I think he'll be using it for a long time to come since many of the elements are geared towards older children as well (alphabet games and puzzle matching). It's brightly colored with fun shapes and styles and a variety of different things to play with, spin, open and close.Is a bit larger than I expected measuring 12" x 12" x 12" for the box itself not including the bead maze on the top.Overall a great activity center and worth the price of $56 in my opinion compared to many others we've seen and played with. 5You're gonna love this but so is your childI had a hard time deciding between 2 activity cubes, I'm thankful that I chose this one. It's safe, entertaining, and well constructed. Not only did this provoke my 9 month old son tho crawl, but his 4 year old sister, and 9 trade old cousin love it as well. This was supposed to be a Christmas present butI had to ensure it was as wonderful as the reciews said and now they throw a fit when i attempt to put ot up. Alex toys well done!!! 5Wonderful Activity ToyWe bought this for our grandson and he loves it! He continually goes to it when he is playing and keeps busy with it for a surprising amount of time. He was almost 9 months when we gave it to him. Be aware that it will tip if the child grabs onto it to pull him/herself up. This problem is easily solved if you put your hand on the other side to balance the child's weight. The activities interest him, he will grow into using all of it in different ways. (I am a child development specialist, so I always go for the learning and 'grow with' toys.) 5Loose screws! Completely broken!!!!Wooden frame on the item was broken and there were three loose screws in the box!!!!! My son could have seriously injured himself or choked! He cried when I had to take it away from him on Christmas morning. Worst experience ever!!! 1Wonderful, but beware of tipping over.This activity table has far more options for children than other plastic ones I ve seen on the market. There s something to do on every side and the top, so my almost one year old has been enjoying it for a few months now. She isn t able to use one side yet. You have to guide a wooden piece up a track. She s just not quite there with her fine motor skills, but she will be able to use that part later and she has plenty to do with the other activities.Please be aware that this item can be tipped over by your child. My child actually purposefully grabs it and puts it on it s side. It s actually not a big deal. Although it is a sturdy toy, she s tipped it over on her leg with no complaints. I just want other parents to be aware that it would be a good idea to make sure your child has progressed far enough to fall down on their butt when they lose their balance. If your child has reached that milestone, then it should be fine.Overall, I recommend this purchase over the plastic lights/sounds activity tables. 4she really enjoyed holding onto the bead trackWe purchased two of these items for our granddaughters for Christmas. One was 4 months old, and the other was 8 months old. It was age-appropriate for both girls. The younger one was just beginning to sit alone and she was mesmerized with all the moving parts. The older one loves all of the activities on the side, but since she is starting to stand, she really enjoyed holding onto the bead track. Note that you can position the Busy town with the bead track on the side so that a child who isn't yet standing, can play with the beads. The adults love the fact that, even though there are tons of moving parts, they are all attached, so cleanup is a piece of cake! 5Cutest wooden activity cube! Highly recommend!This is seriously the cutest wooden activity cube! My 10 month old got it for Christmas this year and she likes it and her 3 1/2 year old sister loves playing with the beads on top. It looks cute in our living room, doesn't make noise or require batteries. Was securely packaged in the box and no damage from shipping. Highly recommend! 5Paint chips - don't purchaseWe were so excited to get this for my niece and she loved it. What I didn't love is that within minutes of her playing with it she had paint chips all over her hands, feet and face. I returned it immediately. 1
