    All broke in first use - reinforcing sewing a possible helpBought these for a rainy day in a cabin. Great fun! For the first couple of minutes. The chicken's head came off during first launch, the duck after the second launch. The others lasted slightly longer, but the hands came off all the others quickly. Picture this - a single piece of stretchy tubing coming out of each sleeve of the animal with one single knot at the end of the tubing. The knot was stuffed into the "hand" of the animal, and then 2-3 single stitches to make the hand hole small enough so the knot won't slip through. Which would be okay, maybe, if this weren't a slingshot! The first pressure applied, and "pop" goes the tubing! I should mention that I have seen the monkeys in a store 3-4 years ago and the demos were constantly played with and did not break. Maybe someone is still selling good ones ou there... but if you get these, take a moment to pull out your own sewing kit and reinforce them before use.1Entertainment for all ages!I previously had purchased variations of these Flingshots at retails stores and I am fairly familiar with the product. The pack came with 1 chicken, 1 duck, 1 frog, 1 pig, 1 cow, and a super-monkey. I am not sure how the monkey fits into the barn yard group, other than the monkey seemed to start this craze. I received the product promptly and everything looked nicely packaged, together. Having read the negative reviews of others, I still ordered this product and discovered they must have had a bad batch or poor luck. This product is worth trying if you are considering ordering a variety pack of flingshots.Pros:-ingenius noises when each flingshot is flying through the air-variety - I like that I could get more than just monkeys-fun themes-best value I could find at the time. All the other options were more-quality is fair - not great materials, but makes nice unique gifts!Cons:-not the strongest rubber stretch material-small finger holds on some animals, which makes them harder to hold securely4Buy these if you want to be banned from family gift exchanges until the kids grow up.Don't pull the arms back too far or some of their arms can break. Also, don't be flinging them around the house while mommy is stressing out over her online college course, and don't shoot baby brother directly in the eye, if you ever want to see your monkeys ever again.4Fun for until they break after the first sight of warSo you messed around and bought some slingshot animals huh? Welp the second you receive em in the mail send em right on back. Save yourself the money cuz they gone break on you. Four of em broke the first shot, and the chicken was already broken when delivered. I shot the duck and the head came right back and kissed me in the eye. These are Supreme Allied Commander Screaming Flying Monkeys.If there were six stars, I'd give 'em.5What America needs now.Got the six pack so all birthday kids including the dad got one. Huge hit I will probably have to order them again. The youngest birthday guest was four and the oldest boy in his 30's. Set up a big empty blue flower pot as a target and they all fired away as mom video taped. The youngest was allowed to run past it and toss the monkey into pot.A great temporary deer deterrent if you live in the country. If you live in the city it's pay back to the neighbors who kept you up all last night. If you like your neighbors be sure to order the six pack and invite them to join you. WARNING! Check the kids back packs before they set off to school! One guest tells me his teacher confiscated his monkey and could I order a replacement?5**UPDATED REVIEW: MONKEY'S TRICKY TO "ARM" BUT OTHERWISE GREAT!**I had returned the monkeys as the majority of them wouldn't make any noise. Totally my fault, I purchased them again and this time saw the small white pull tag under the cape that activates the sound. You need to pull the tab out of the monkey to get them to start screaming. Once done, they worked great! 4 out of 5 stars simply due to labeling not being that great/easy to figure out!4Monkeys didn't scream bcs I didn't remove the tabsI must apologize! MY BAD. I gave this product a shoddy review because my Monkeys didn't scream.I thought these Monkeys must have had batteries I could not replace, and did not work. It never occurred to me until TONIGHT that the Monkeys had tabs preventing the screaming, tabs you take out when you get them.I'm an idiot. I'm very sorry, I misunderstood this wonderful product.Once the tab is removed these Monkeys SCREAM! And everyone who's ever been terrified by the flying Monkeys in the Wizard of Oz will be relieved to know that those monkeys are at your command. Not so scary after all.Ashamed of myself for not realizing, but there was no instruction, so I just went stupid.Folks, there's a white tab in the back preventing the noise box from working until you remove it.embarrassed,Tamara4Love it and it is still goingLove it! I read the reviews of others and didn't feel optimistic about their longtime use...that's why I bought 6 of them. I use them with my golden retriever. He loves them. Unlike some other reviews, I have to report that they have lasted well for me. In truth, I have really only used one with my dog as it is still working well. I think that there is a possibility that my dog might be center with it than other dogs. Today I took a brand new one to the dog park. It was a hit with the dogs. Many of them played with it. It returned home intact. I can recommend these.5Blind Dog Finally Can Play Fetch!!!!I was told that my dog is almost completely blind. He loves playing fetch but now that he can't see how can he play fetch? Thank goodness for Playmaker toys!!!! This toy does not make any noise until it hits the floor. Why is this great? Because I can throw the toy, and the toy doesn't start making noise until it hits the ground which gives my sweet boy enough time to find it! I cannot express how happy I am to have found a toy that a blind dog can play with. There are hardly any toys on the market for blind dogs. I hope Playmaker Toys see this review and begins making larger Flingshots so that large blind dogs have something larger to play with. I have a goldendoodle and although these small toys are working, it would be awesome if they came a larger size so that once my dog retrieves the toy he can shake it around the house which he LOVES to do. He can't shake a 6" toy in his big mouth. : )5
